Hi There Friends!

I found this post in my dashboard as one that I never “published”… it’s been sitting here in draft status for a couple weeks. I’m so sorry, I meant to share all these awesome tags and ornaments with you, in case you wanted to make any for Christmas. Well, there’s always next year, right? I don’t know about you, but I’m vowing to make my own cards in the summer before it gets too hectic in the fall. December is my most stressful month for me, and it’s no surprise that my body crashed for a couple days… I think I’m finally recovered. So, without further ado…. here is my original post from 12/8 that never made it.

Look at these awesome ornaments and tags!! Can you believe I was lucky enough to win these at our Whirlwind Stampers Christmas Party?

Judy Battiste, one of my talented downline, made these little cuties!! Which one is your favorite? (I know it’s hard to pick just one!!) Leave me a comment- I’d love to know your favorite.

Judy stamped with stazon ink onto the ornaments (for the two Santa ornaments), the pine and silver star are heat embossed. She used blendabilities to color them in carefully, making sure she didn’t touch the stazon ink. Just gorgeous!

 

All of these awesome tags were on a key ring on a card frame- which I can’t wait to use. Here are the tags individually:

Merry Christmas! Hi there stamping friends! It sure has been challenging to keep up with the blog this month, my apologies friends! I’m also going to be one of those shoppers out today finishing up my shopping- luckily some local purchases are needed- but I’m usually done by now. I didn’t get as many handmade gifts made for my family, and our 2015 calendar that I make in our MDS program is not done yet either. But the accomplishments and time spent with my family and friends this month as we make memories, that is more than worth it. Some highlights for me this month- on top of some awesome Christmas music at my church, which is always a highlight, I took my mother to see a Christmas program at a local church- Our Hope Will Come- and it was fabulous. Our Girl Scout community went caroling to a local senior living facility. Also had a fun day trip to NYC on Saturday with my niece and nephews.

I really want to thank all of you for your encouragement, comments, and support. A Huge THANKS to all my wonderful customers! Many of you have asked how I am doing on earning the cruise, well, I’m not quite 1/2 way there… I do have until June 30th, 2015 and I am still working on earning it. (I had thought of giving up at one point, but some of my wonderful Lynnzcrafters team members encouraged me to keep trying, so I’m back at it).

SNOW DAY??? Have fun….

Hi friends, so I wanted to explain about my little faux pas… you see I often try to create my blog posts on the weekends when I have a bit more time to write, edit, take photos, and upload to wordpress here. I often schedule blog posts in advance… and well- just wanted you to know the wish list post from last night about 10 pm I meant to schedule it for 7 am… not sure how I messed that up, but well, I wanted you to know that I make mistakes too.. sorry! anyway, on to today’s post, hope you have time to create this cute little snowman.

 

This was an awesome post from the Stampin’ Up! blog, I’ve been under the weather and haven’t really created anything new, need to get my club cards prepped, hope to do so tonight. I also still owe you photos of my grab bag from last weekend, will take those later too. Enjoy!!

 

Remember our 3D paper pumpkin project from a few weeks ago? Now you can create fun paper snowmen using the same technique!

One snowman takes about thirty minutes to make—and they’re super-easy to put together. Make one for Christmas . . . then change his hat and get him ready for Valentine’s Day!

You could also put these snowmen to work as cute package toppers or place card holders for table settings. Or gather together your kids or grandkids together for a fun little party making snowmen families to decorate your home.

Create the hat using a 2-1/4″ circle, a 1-1/2″ circle, and 1-1/2″ x 5″ strip of cardstock or Designer Series Paper. Make the snowman’s body using 2-3/4″, 2-1/4″, and 1-7/8″ circles (or whatever size you wish)! Use the Owl Punch for eyes and the Bird Punch to make the nose and mouth. Easy!

Hi Friends!! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! I must admit, I am still tired from cooking, cleaning, playing in the snow with the kids, and having the family over yesterday. But I love the good food, family togetherness and memories we make. My poor niece couldn’t eat anything more than some Bob Evans mac and cheese and applesauce, 8 days out from her tonsils/adenoids surgery and she is still hurting, poor baby. And my sister’s first outing since her surgery 9 days ago, hard to get comfortable… BUT we gave thanks and praise for their successful surgeries and now pray for their continued healing.

I wanted to remind you that I am going to be at a HUGE Craft/Vendor Fair this Sunday November 30th at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs… we are open 11 am to 2 pm and there are goodie bags for the first 50 people through the doors. Every year Stampin’ Up! has a big sale over the week of Thanksgiving. There are TONS of products on sale. I counted over 25 of my wonderful customers, friends and family who came out to see me this weekend. The Craft Fair at Trinity Presbyterian was a great hit! I was next to Sam’s Jam’s and enjoyed her yummy treats, there were some unique hand made gifts and everyone had a great time. Thank you for those who came out!

 

I had my new handy cart with a bin full of retired stamps. I had been going through my retired stamps last week looking for a “bucket” stamp for a friend, and couldn’t find it, and it gave me the idea to sell these retired items at my craft fairs.

My best sellers were: Penguin, Rudolf and Santa treat boxes, Chap Stick holders, Santa’s Magic Key, cardinal candles, dry erase boards, and retired stamps.

Yesterday I was Rexford Firehouse again, wowza, it was huge- so many talented people.

My best sellers were: Rudolf, Santa and Penguin treat boxes (sold out by 1:30 pm), mini purses (full of Hershey’s kisses), Santa’s Magic Key, my handmade cards were a hit (I whipped up 24 cards on Saturday night so I was sure to have Thanksgiving and Christmas cards), and my mini coffee cups. (I made these up Saturday night too).

Well I have one more HUGE event that is open to the public. On Sunday November 30th,  from 11 am to 2 pm, I will be at the “One Stop Holiday Shop” at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs, NY. This event has over 50 vendors, and we are in 2 rooms this year! The first 50 shoppers will receive a welcome goodie bag. Be sure to check out what is in the bags before you leave the event as there may be something in them to redeem at the event.

On a personal note- please keep two of my family members in your prayers. My darling sister is having surgery tomorrow and my dear niece is having surgery on Wednesday. Praying for them and their surgeons for success, healing, comfort from pain, and that recovery goes well. Thank you. I cancelled my classes/events this week so I can help take care of my sister’s kids. Love my family, so glad we are so close.
