TGIF… Lynnzcrafters Team Stamping

Wow, this was quite a week, wasn’t it?  i love my weekends, so much more time for stamping and creating… I prepared a couple fun cards for my team get together tonight, here they are, what do you think?

I wanted to feature new products, so we are using the new circle and label thin lists to be able to make these cute “swing” cards, it’s so easy! The little leaf file folder card I learned how to make while watching a you tube video from another demonstrator named Patty Bennett. Wouldn’t this be a great card for a secretary or co-worker? It was so easy with our new envelope punch board and stamping trimmer.

Spoiler alert, the little Halloween card featured here is also a card my club girls will make too (in addition to the fall banner I showed you he other day).

Did you see my post yesterday about the clearance rack new additions? Well, I saw online that some items are already sold out, so if you had your eye on something get it quick, and don’t forget to use my hostess code to get the lower price and to be entered to win my monthly on,one drawing.

Well, thanks for reading. Have a great Friday!

Circle Thinlits are Fun and Easy!!

Introducing Our amazing NEW Thinlits Card Dies- a set of dies that help you create cards that flip in just one step!!!

You just start out with a piece of 6″ x 6″ card stock (or designer series paper) and the thinlit does all the hard work (on the magnetic platform of course!)

If you want some contrast, cut some additional coordinating colors – don’t you LOVE this Birthday Basics DSP?? I won this for free when I watched a Stampin’ Up webinar a couple months ago- I love winning things 🙂

My sister needed a bunch of birthday cards, and she came over while my friend/downline Judy was over stamping with me, it was a fun afternoon of stamping!  We cranked out 7 of these “swing” cards in less than an hour!

I forgot to take a picture of the 7th one… it was a cute “Thank You” card- we used the little chevron pieces and the little word “thx” that is in a cute little cursive type font. darn… I’ll have to go make another one so I can show you- it was so cute.

We used the stamp set: Sketched Birthday- I was given this stamp set free when I went to the Stampin’ Up Leadership Conference in January- and have really gotten a LOT of mileage out of it!

If you need the circle thinlits- head over to my online store. It is item #133480 (you do NOT need to have the magnetic platform, they work just fine with the regular multi-purpose platform for the Big Shot!)

When ordering, please type in Hostess code: XPSSURQ3- you’ll see my name come up. This hostess code will be good until September 16th. Of all the online orders, if we reach $150 qualifying order, I’ll pull a name out of a hat for one winner of the hostess rewards (with a $150 total group of orders, the winner would earn $25 in free hostess products!)

There are a lot of items in the clearance rack, that would be great to get your crafting mojo going this fall!

Thanks for reading my blog- and good luck getting back in the “swing” of things… get it- swing card, swing of things. Okay, I’ll stop now 🙂

Get Well Shelli Card

Most of you probably know by now that our CEO and co-founder of Stampin’ Up!, the wonderful Shelli Gardner, had a severe horseback riding accident the other day. I have been deeply affected by this, and by her dear husband’s account of the accident. Here is a link to what Sterling wrote yesterday on her blog: Shelli’s blog  Please keep Shelli and her horse Kadie in your thoughts and prayers. They are both going to have a long recovery and need all the positive energy we can send her way.

I missed the mail Saturday so now with the long weekend, my card won’t go out until Tuesday.

Maybe you can help  me decide which one to send? I made this first card after seeing the talented Brian King’s card he made for Shelli…. it is the sketch for this week’s challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches, do you ever need some help deciding on a card idea? So do I, when I’m stumped, I head over to see what “sketch” ideas there are out there. Maybe you’ll want to check it out: Freshly Made Sketches Blog

this was the original card sketch:

FMS Final 101-001

But, then I thought my card looked too similar to Brian’s since I used crisp cantaloupe, crumb cake and very vanilla together, so then I made another card. This one was inspired by my friend and downline Jamie DeCanio’s card she made and posted on our demonstrator group facebook page. I changed it up a little bit, but what do you think of the painter’s tape technique? And I am now in love with these swing cards! How super easy to put some cards together very quickly. Tomorrow I’m going to share 7 cards my sister and I put together in less than an hour. Super fast and easy with this new thinlit die set. It is jam packed full of cute little dies for other “parts”.

So what one do you think I should send to Shelli? I kept the cards simple, flat and easy to mail to Utah.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Happy stamping!
