Happy August!
Are you getting ready for Back to School? Or are you starting to notice the leaves are falling?
Well, this month our awesome group is featuring ideas to get you jump started for fall and back to school projects! We hope you enjoy our creations!
I decided to overnight express my Holiday Catalog goodies– for a few reasons honestly, one was to have this harvest hello bundle for this blog hop, as well as to have products for my Way to Go Day, which was yesterday, and also to have holiday catalogs in the house, I met with a group of ladies this weekend and wanted them to have the catalog as they are thinking of purchasing the starter kit and joining my team. So that was a lot of good reasons I thought to spend the extra money, it is the first time I have done this, well worth it. (because we live on the East Coast if I had not expedited this order and done overnight shipping, I likely would not have my order until around August 12).
You are going to want to add this bundle to your collection- it is good for many Occasions!
I paired the new clings stamp set Harvest Hellos and the Apple builder punch with the new curly real red ribbon. My card base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2″ crumb cake scored at 4 1/4 inches. Then I used my corrugated texture folder on a piece of soft suede that measured 4″ x 5 1/4″ (this texture folder is currently unavailable -I will let you know when it is converted to the new style. We have three folders right now that are going through reconfiguration: corrugated, layered leaves, and tufted)
The small tag that I mounted my apples on measures 2 3/4 x 3 3/4″ and I sliced off the two tap corners to make a tag. I punched a hole and tied the ribbon right through, how cute is that?
I have a tip for you, first punch out on a piece of scrap paper the Apple punch, see how the stem and leaf are above the Apple?
Then align the 3 stamps to the backside of what you punched…
Set your clear block over top and now you can ink and stamp in one step, and punch all three parts out to color and assemble, so easy right?
Well I would like to thank you for stopping by this morning, please click the link below and go check out my friends blogs… I can’t wait to see what fun fall back to school projects they have! Have a fabulous week.
