Hi there Friends! Welcome to our July Blog Hop! I hope you are having a wonderful summer! Our theme this month is “Be a Big Shot”! and we are all featuring projects made with the Big Shot machine! I vividly remember when I bought my first Big Shot in September 2008 when Stampin’ Up! and Sizzix began their collaboration, and can hardly believe all the awesome products created through the years that are exclusive to Stampin’ Up! Our newest exclusive, limited time offer is the stunning new bundle called “Thoughtful Branches”.
Don’t you just love the gorgeous fonts in this set? Demonstrators are able to preorder this bundle in July, so glad I purchased mine last week. I had very limited time to play with this set, but the first idea I had was to create a beautiful fall tree… not that I’m rushing summer, but I just wanted to show you another option for this set. The leaves were created with the baby wipe technique (I used crushed curry, Cajun craze, and cherry cobbler reinkers).
This version was my first attempt, but I could tell right away that it needed something else.
I just knew I needed the new copper embossing powder and copper metallic thread on this card too.
