One of the best things about going to OnStage last month was getting to play with new product and also getting to order this gorgeous new suite of products that I am featuring today. (There are three bundles that go on sale today, May 1 and the bundle prices will last until May 31. Scroll all the way to the end of this post to see your options.)
This was a card we made as one of our 4 Make-and-Takes at OnStage, aren’t you thrilled about Mint Macaron?? Me too! Do you see that amazing shine on our new pearlized doilies? These are simply stunning!! One side is white so you could sponge it or color it and the other has a sweet shimmery pearl finish! I love these so much! I know you will too! and you are also going to love the new share what you love artisan pearls- they are dreamy in five different colors. You can hardly see but there’s also a strip of our new quarter inch rich razzleberry velvet ribbon, just put a little glue on this and stick it down and it just adds a nice touch. And let me talk about this designer series paper, you are not going to believe this but you get four sheets each of 6 double sided designs for a total of 24 pieces of 12″ x 12″ DSP, 4 of the designs have a pearlized finish and is just gorgeous.
Next up-This card features one of our brand new In Colors- Grapefruit Grove! I paired it with two returning colors so saffron and old olive. And look at the Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder! (at bingo the other night we used this texture folder on the envelopes and it is gorgeous!) Okay, yes I’m addicted to the pearlized doilies and the artisan pearls I had to use them again.
Last but not least is this sweet little card I came up with for our bingo night last week. You absolutely cannot go wrong with the oval from the stitched framelits and how amazing does that rich razzleberry look as the border punched out with the decorative ribbon border punch? I know right! And more of this stunning DSP specialty paper, you have to add this to your first order if you don’t get the bundle it will make so many nice cards, scrapbook pages, gift bags, you name it!

Fun Fold Card Swap
Spoiler alert for any of my Whirlwind Stamping stamping demonstrators who are swapping this month… but I was so excited with how my card came out, I decided to blog about it today!
So our August Stamp and Share Get Together with Dania Welch’s downline is tonight, and I challenged myself to do a swap card that features ALL new Products, new stamp set, new Designer Series Paper AND was a “Fun or Fancy Fold”. So I thought I would break out my brand new “Amazing Birthday” stamp set that I received free at Convention last month. I also thought about how challenging masculine cards can be, and thought of the patriotic colors in the Maritime DSP…. well, this was NOT quick to make, it was a lot of stamping, punching, fussy cutting and yes, some mistakes were made…. but I’m pretty happy with how it came out- what do you think?
Want to know how I made it? Well, it is a Screen Card (I sure hope this is a “Fancy” enough fun fold card, it sure was challenging to make it!)
Coastal Cabana base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/4″ Scored at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″ then punched bottom “Legs” using Decorative label punch and made the top with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.
Then Stamped each image from Amazing Birthday in Real Red, Coastal Cabana and Night of Navy ink pads, hand cut the “happy”, “today” and “amazing” words. Used the circle punches for the birthday cake and used the Little Labels punch pack for “make”. Used banner framelits to cut out the “Happy birthday to you” and the DSP behind it. Here’s the card recipe:

Blendabilities Alcohol Markers are now available! I am so excited the wait is over! My July club ladies are going to enjoy coloring with these awesome new markers!!
Earlier this spring, Stampin Up allowed demonstrators to purchase the Blendabilities Alcohol Markers on pre-release. I love these markers and I must say, they are really fabulous as well as cost friendly. When I compared them to other alcohol markers I was very impressed.
Blendabilities are dual tipped one end is a fine point and the other is a brush tip, the colors are vibrant and rich, Stampin Up has pulled out all the stops with this one.
Stampin Up has equipped the Blendabilities with the best features of other markers into one marker. They have also taken the guess work out of trying to find like color shades that will allow me to get that progressive blend from dark to light or light to dark.
With the Blendabilities you will get 3 coordinating shades of one color for each color group. If you have the Cherry Cobbler Ink, Card Stock and ribbon you now can color an image using the Cherry Cobbler Alcohol markers to blend your image, it will come in dark, medium and light shades all for 11.95. Sale-a-Bration Questions Answered
Hi there stamping friends!
How are you? Are you surviving our vicious winter? I could do without all the snow, who’s with me? I was pretty relieved that the college canceled classes for tonight (I’m sure my students were too), so I decided to catch up on some questions I have been receiving from several people about Sale-a-Bration.
First of all, Sale-a-Bration (or SAB for short) is a wonderful time of year where Stampin’ Up! pulls out all the stops and rewards customers, hostesses, demonstrators and new recruits.

What are the bundles in the front of the SAB flyer? What if I already have that ink pad? Many people have been confused by all the bundles in the Sale-a-Bration brochure. The bundles are SUGGESTIONS only. You do NOT have to purchase a bundle in order to earn a SAB freebie. They are there to help people who might have trouble pulling together a $50 order to get the rewards. (Sometimes new stampers say they are overwhelmed by the size of our catalog, so Stampin’ Up! decided to try these new bundles, with just one code for all the items pictured).
What if I decide to host a party? First of all, great idea! Whether you want to have some friends over to stamp cards or make some little treat holders or 3D items, or even if you want to try making one of our kits, a home party is a fun time! If you are a hostess between now and March 31st you will get an extra $30 in free hostess merchandise when your party hit $300 or more, plus a free BONUS thank you gift from me at your party! I have several dates left on my Sale A Bration calendar, but act quickly if you have a date in mind–otherwise we can set up a “book party” and you can collect orders from friends and family members–and items can ship straight to them! I will set up a hostess code for you and then you just pass out some catalogs to friends/neighbors/coworkers/family or have them shop from my online store. The hostess code I give you will link all sales to your “party” and you can earn free products with a minimum of $150 in product orders.
I have been thinking of joining Stampin’ Up! it looks fun and I like the events you offer, is this a good time to join?
