best of greetings

“Best of Greetings” is the June stamp set in the 25 Year Best of Stamp Sets

Best of 25 Years Stamps
As part of our 25-year anniversary celebration, we’re bringing back some of our favorite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into 12 sets, which will release-one set per month-during 2013. Even better, along with some great classic images, each “Best of” set will also include a never-before-seen image!

•All Best of stamp sets will include 3-5 images, including a never-before seen image, and will be priced at $14.95.
•While we are releasing just one Best of stamp set per month (with a new theme each month), all of the Best of sets will be available until March 31, 2014.
•All Best of stamp sets are available in Clear-Mount only.
While we are releasing just one Best of stamp set per month, all of the Best of sets will be available until March 31, 2014.

As a special incentive to collect the Best of stamps, we’re including a collector’s card and 25-year proof of purchase sticker with every Best of set. Collect six stickers, and send it in to redeem a FREE set of your choice valued up to $14.95! Free sets must be redeemed no later than April 30, 2014.

My June Clubs are all ready, I’m only going to show you 2 of the 4 projects I have planned, I’ll share the other 2 projects tomorrow night.

This card is made with one of our new Hostess Stamp Sets in our new 2013-14 Idea Book and Catalog (or “catty” for short). The set is called “Simply Sketched” and I was so thrilled to get a set to showcase some easy watercoloring techniques. This card went together in a flash! I’m going to demonstrate to the ladies in my club all the various ways to work with our new Simply Pressed Clay. It looks pretty just white- but I will be posting some of the amazing ways you can color it! Tune in tomorrow for all those details.

What do you think of my little Candy Container? Do you know what this is made out of?? IN the new catty there is a pack of designer series paper (we call it DSP for short) called “Quatrefancy Specialty Paper”. Inside are two sheets of our window sheets with this wonderful mosaic design printed on in whisper white. I cut the sheets down to 8 1/2 x 3 inches and rolled them to fit inside an empty button/brad container! Used glue dots to hold it together, added coordinating designer paper from the same package (punch lids with the 2 1/2 inch circle punch) and a 3/4 inch band around the lip. I used daffodil delight seam binding to tie it together, just have to remember to stop and buy some candy on my way home from work tomorrow.

The winner of my weekend contest (online sales, Stamp-a-Palooza customers and weekend orders) is Amye Spiers! You have won the Artsian Label Punch and gift certificate for $20 in SU product!

Well, that’s it for tonight. Hope you had a great weekend, didn’t it fly by? I am always amazed at how quickly the weekends seem to go, there just aren’t enough hours in them.
Have a great week,
Happy Stamping,

Simply Pressed Clay, Simply Pressed Clay Molds, Stampin Up

Friday Faves… my favorite new product!

clay

Well hello there! guess what I played with tonight??? Can you notice anything new in this photo? I was able to “Pre-order” some new products that will be coming out in the new Annual Catalog (it launches next Friday May 31st). In fact, I hadn’t played with it until one of my uplines, the wonderful Dania, selected the new Buttons and Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds and our new Simply Pressed Clay for one of our cards we are featuring at Stamp-a-Palooza (one more day to register for our very fun event on June 1st in Clifton Park… contact me for more details!) Anyway, there is one mold that makes 3 different sized buttons and another mold that makes 3 different sized flowers. You can change the color of the white clay by either adding our reinkers directly to the clay and kneading it in (knead it very well to mix it in), OR you can color your completed flower or button by either painting it on with an aqua painter and reinkers or you can spritz it on with one of our spritzers (filled with rubbing alcohol and reinkers). It does take a little extra drying time, BUT these new molds are so wonderful- just imagine how you will ALWAYS have the ability to add a coordinating embellishment to any project you are making! *Just wear rubber gloves while kneading in the color to protect your hands… our reinkers will stain your skin.

when you get your new catalog, be sure to check these products out on page 167. The container of clay is $6.95 and makes over 100 buttons or roses, and the 2 molds together are only $7.95. What a bargain!

I sure hope you all have gotten all the retiring stamps and accessories! Only one week left! Here is a link to my online store: http://LynnStreifert.Stampinup.net and click "Shop Now" and then click "retiring products".
Remember to use hostess code: AQ69YM49 The hostess for this order is Amy DeBiase and she is working towards earning a discount to get a Big Shot. Would love if you could help her out.

I’m wishing all of you a very wonderful Memorial Weekend. If any of you have loved ones who have served (or are serving) in our Military- my thanks to you for your service to our country. My dad was in the Army, my grandfather and brother-in-law were in the Navy. Proud of them and the sacrifices they made. {hugs}
~Happy stamping!
