Christmas Stamp a Stack- Deadline is Almost Here!

image

Hi there Stampers,
There is a lot of work that goes into our Stamp Camps that we offer at the Clifton Park Elks Lodge in Ballston Lake. We purchase stamp sets and supplies and prepare our samples weeks in advance (these cards we made in early August)…. We set our price to include a room rental fee, door prizes and Grand Raffle Basket, plus the card stock, ribbons, embellishments, envelopes, and supplies (like grid paper).

It can be tempting to wait until the last minute to register for our events, but what you should know is we do have a minimum number of stampers we need at each stamp camp. Would you please help me out by passing on our stamp camp info to others who love to stamp? We welcome children ages 8 and older, if they are interested in crafting and can follow directions. (We have enjoyed many mature young ladies who have done most of the stamping/card making, with just a little help needed).

How much would you spend for a night out with friends? We priced stamp camps this fall at $25 each (there is a discount of $10 if you register for all three stamp camps at once by September 15th).

You will not be disappointed! In addition to making 2 each of these 4 one-of-a-kind, precious Christmas cards shown at the top of this post, but you will also receive from me a very special thank you gift for attending this event:

Do you like? If so, then please register today! Would love to stamp with you! We ask for registrations by September 15th.

Here is a sneak peek of one of the gifts you will make at our October 29th Stamp Camp:

Can you see the adorable ornament peeking out of the custom stamped window box? You will love making this- perfect gift for a teacher, co-worker, neighbor, family member, or hey- keep it for yourself!

We did finish the planning for our October 29th Camp, and made up the samples this weekend, are you ready to hear the line up? 2 stunning Pop-n-cut Gift Card (or money or gift certificate) Holders, an Ornament in Gift Box, A Hot Beverage themed muslin bag (we’ll give you some candy to put inside, but the bag will hold other gifts as well) with matching gift card holder (note: we picked some blues and neutral colors), and 10 Christmas Tags and a cute little Envelope Pouch to keep them all in.

I will be working on the October flyers to send out next week.
Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks for stopping by! Hope to stamp with you soon!

Possible contenders for Spring Fling, what do you think?

Hi There Friends, this is going to be a very quick post because it’s getting late, I lost track of time, and I needed to post to the blog. So here is the question for the day- what do you think of this card? I made it this weekend thinking it could be a contender for our big “Spring Fling” coming up on March 21st. I will post a few more possibilities too… we’re saving some surprises of course, but wanted some of your input.

Let’s call the card above the “Poppies” card.

Here is another fabulous card, made by the wonderful and talented Jamie DeCanio. This card is the “Elements of Style” card.

didn’t she do a great job on the coloring? I love this card for so many reasons, mostly the combo of purple and green- I’ve always loved these colors together. what do you think??

~Until tomorrow, happy stamping!

(forgive me, but I want to “pretend” that I made this post before midnight… I started it at 5 of… thanks).

Spring Fling… Thursday March 21st, 2013

easter blessings

Hello Stampers,
Well I must say that blogging every day is a real committment, I have a whole new appreciation for my uplines, sister demonstrators and all those other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who maintain their awesome blogs. My goal is to post at least once a day. Some days there are multiple things I want to say, but I don’t want to run out of things to blog about, so I’m only doing one a day for now.

On behalf of my Lynnzcrafter’s team, we would like to invite you to our first ever Spring Fling! It is a card making event on Thursday March 21st, 2013. It will run 6:30-9:30 pm (it is an “Open House” format, which means you should plan to arrive any time before 8 pm and you’ll have time to finish all 4 projects. Spring Fling will be at the West Glenville Fire House. The cost is $15 to make 4 cards, you will receive envelopes, email with photos and directions typed out for all cards we make, snacks and doorprizes! Also, if you place a $25 order or more, then you will not pay a class fee at all! That’s right- the class will be free! That’s just our way of saying thank you for joining us and for your business.

Because we need to order some of the supplies to be sure we have enough of everything, and to be sure we cut enough for everyone who is attending, we’d like RSVP’s by March 15th, 2013. Then, if room allows, we may be able to accommodate you if you respond by March 17th. The reason for this, is all of us Lynnzcrafter’s demonstrators work full time jobs. We are Stampin’ Up demonstrators on a part time basis, and usually have just the weekends to get together and do all our prep for events like this.

If we have to cancel the event due to winter weather (snow or ice), we’ll follow the Scotia-Glenville School District’s cancellation on the television…. and the event will be rescheduled. *The Sale-a-bration special will be over on Friday 3/22 sorry.

If for some reason you are unable to attend (you are sick, you have a sick child) then you will be responsible for your class fee and will receive it as a “To GO Kit”, this means you will receive all your supplies and can assemble your cards at home. Just like our in class option, if you put in a $25 or more order, you will receive your kit for free.

If you sign up to bring a friend, we’ll have a special thank you gift!
Any questions? Feel free to leave a comment here, or feel free to message me on facebook (Lynnzcrafters page) or email: Lstreifert@nycap.rr.com

Hope you can join us, it will be a very fun night of stamping! If you have a child who is a responsible stamper, and you wish to pay the $15 fee for them to join us, we’d love to have them as well. Suggested ages are 8 and above, if the child is able to follow directions, work independently and respect the materials.

Each stamper will need to bring their “stamping supplies” or “go bag” (I was watching Criminal Minds and it reminded me of that when they have to grab their “go bags”…. isn’t Morgan a hunk? sorry, I digress) a Stamping “go bag” is your scissors, adhesives- snail, green bottle of glue, sticky strip, dimensionals- whatever you like to assemble your cards with and a bone folder. We will be putting glue sticks out on the table if you forget.
You might want to bring a camera, we will have a display area with other sample cards and items that you may photograph.

Well, that’s all for now. Please consider joining us for Spring Fling- we really would LOVE to stamp with you!!

Until tomorrow, happy stamping!
~Lynn
