Wow, I was surprised to learn so many people have not tried Pinterest yet. It is the best electronic bulletin board website out there!
It is free, easy, portable (you can add a Pinterest app to your tablet or phone) and it consolidates all your “likes” into categories that you create called “Boards”.
I keep adding new boards when I see what other people are pinning. It is quicker to go look something up on my pinterest board then to search for a bookmarked website or find a picture I printed from my computer. It is so easy!
Here’s how to get started:
Once you have a Pinterest account, here are some helpful hints on how to create boards, how to pin your favorites, how to follow people, and how to “send” a pin- yes- you can share things you find and like with your friends who are on pinterest too! This is a great way to plan a party, event, or holiday… makes list making so easy and any event can be planned beautifully with the help of Pinterest!
