Good morning friends! Can you tell I’ve been burning the midnight oil? I have been stamping every night this week (and all weekend last weekend) and I have so many ideas, projects and exciting new cards to share with you- I’m practically bursting at the seams! Today you will see the 3 cards my friends will be making at my August Clubs (Saturday morning and Monday night once a month). What do you think?? I adore the new Photopolymer set “Dear Heart” (the boy version of the “Sweetie Pie” set that sold out a few months ago- what do you think?

This card is a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from Pinterest by a stamper named Heidi- thanks so much for the inspiration! I always let my stampers change the greetings, if they want, this card would be perfect for someone going off to college, or a birthday, get well, thinking of you, and many more occasions!

New Stamps! Map it Out & Greetings From

Today Stampin’ Up! announced the addition of 2 new photopolymer sets: Map It Out & Greetings From. They’re great by themselves, but when used together they can help you create customized maps for so many things: save-the-dates, moving postcards, travel keepsake containers, and just-saying-hello cards, to name a few.

Most of the images fit perfectly on the smallest clear blocks, and are easy to layer and line up. But be careful not to lose any of the little pieces—they are sneaky! They also coordinate nicely with our circle punches letting you create easy tags or embellishments for scrapbook pages.

The greetings from the Greetings From Stamp Set fit perfectly around the state abbreviation icons from the Map It Out set. Add a dashed line, an “x” to mark the spot—and other fun details—and you’ve got a perfect postcard to send to friends and family to let them know you’ve moved.

I personally think these stamps would be great to help teach US geography in school or home-schooling environments. Also- great for treasure maps, birthday party invites, and road trip bingo boards. The possibilities are endless with these!

Introducing Photopolymer by Stampin’ Up!

Let’s get to talking about the benefits of photopolymer stamps. For those who are unfamiliar, let me point out a couple of things I personally find really cool.

First, they’re completely clear, making it oh-so-easy to stamp exactly where you want. They come unmounted, on an acetate sheet, and temporarily adhere to our clear blocks. Awesome!

Second, they are pliable. Want your arrow to shoot a certain way? No problem! Want your banner to have the perfect sag? Easy peasy! Being able to play with the shape gives you even more creative freedom.

So without further adieu, let me introduce you to the Designer Typeset Stamp Set. It’s based around a really great san serif font that will work well on just about any project. And then there are embellishments and shapes to take whatever you want to say to the next level. The possibilities are seriously endless.

I was sooooo excited to get home from work and have this arrive in my SU order! Now I can play with it myself!! I’ll be sure to post pictures when I have my own samples. *The photos at the top of this blog are from the SU website, made by one of the concept artists. Awesome, eh?
