Another Tempting Tuesday! (Sneak Peek too!)

Well I was surprised today to see that Stampin’ Up! had 18 announcements today for us demonstrators! Wowza- 18 pieces of important information. Now some of those announcements were about convention and demo only news, but a good number (8 of the announcements) are full of surprises, new releases and information that I wanted you to have -as you consider what to order this month. It’s such an exciting time to be a demonstrator, and getting a head’s up about some great deals is certainly appreciated, right?? As always- please let me know if you have any questions!

Paper Pumpkin Past Kits	Did you know that Stampin’ Up! will now let demonstrators place Past Paper Pumpkin Kits on their orders- no need for you to call Stampin’ Up! I just need the email address you signed up your account under- that is how they will “verify” your purchase of a past kit or refill. Here’s the updated list of all Paper Pumpkin past options: Past Paper Pumpkin Kits and Refills Available (please note that refills and past kits are available while supplies last).

Project Life Update	Though the annual catalog states that the following products will not be available until August, we’re happy to announce that they will be available for purchase on July 14: Love Story Project Life Card Collection (item 135308; p. 189) and Love Story Project Life Accessory Pack (item 135310; p. 189). And we have more fantastic news–the Black Faux Leather 12″ x 12″ Project Life Album (item 135292; p. 188) will also be available for purchase beginning July 14!Have you gotten behind in your scrapbooking?? Are you like me and have tons of photos and boxes of photos all over the house? Happy Mother’s Day!

Hi There Stamping Friends!! I wanted to wish all of you a very Happy Mother’s Day! I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to spend this gorgeous day with my mother, sister, niece, aunt and cousins… we are traveling to Syracuse for brunch and then some family time at Onondaga Lake today. Fingers crossed that all goes well, but I have a feeling my grandmother will be looking down at us today so glad we could pull this off! Stampin’ Up! to the rescue- I love being able to make quick and simple bags, tags and gifts… I think my mom will love everything, most especially the spending time together part. Stampin’ Up!’s April Paper Pumpkin to the Rescue…. sometimes I agonize over what to make or how to commemorate a special day like Mother’s Day, and the recent kit was just perfect. “One of the great things about being a Paper Pumpkin subscriber is the opportunity to buy past kits. I just love the Noel kit. It has so many possibilities, and not just for the holidays. I came up with some cute patriotic party décor that is sure to put a finishing touch on any summer party. I used the star garland like ribbon, wrapping it around the silverware roll and also draping it across the name tag. The garland is also perfect for a party topper in the treat bucket. I cut apart the card base to create the square backing for the “Let’s Celebrate” tag, the belly band on the silverware roll, and the strip along the bottom of the name tag. I also added sparklers to the silverware roll for that extra patriotic touch.

Paper Pumpkin Party Postponed….until May 1st

Friends- I had ordered a bunch of items for my Paper Pumpkin Party and they are not here yet (I even tried expedited shipping, but I didn’t count correctly apparently)… I tried email and texting everyone, but didn’t hear back from some- so I thought I would send out this quick update… I’m postponing the party until May 1st…. It will still be open house format- starts at 6 pm, and I will stay open until 9:30pm. Hope all my paper pumpkin pals can make it- boy do I have some nice surprises for you!

Guess that gives everyone else time to join in the fun- anyone who subscribes by April 27th will be invited to the party too!

Birthday Party!, Stampin Up

My 50th Birthday Party!

Yesterday was a very special day- my family and friends threw me a wonderful 50th birthday party! Although my birthday is not until April 22nd, with Spring Break, Easter, and people traveling, the girls decided to have the party in March… and what a way to say good-bye to winter. The party was at the Turf Tavern in Scotia, and it was so yummy and delicious. My sisters, SIL’s, nieces, and my BFF decorated, had a photo booth with props, made adorable favors, had huge balloons, yummy cake from Villa Italia, a very touching slide show (lots of baby pictures and fun times) set to amazing music- thanks to Kristen- what an awesome job (and I KNOW how hard and time-consuming those slide shows are- so THANKS A MILLION!)!!, a boa and tiara to wear (I think I should wear the tiara every day until my birthday- what a way to say good-bye to 49!) I was so humbled by the love and laughter, cards and gifts, and will treasure all these photos for years to come.

Here is the favor that my friend (and newest downline Amye) created and helped my sister Sue and niece Claire to make for the party, aren’t these elegant? (A nice use for the new Spiral Flower Die in our Occasions Catalog!!)

And look at this yummy cake! It was the Strawberry Cream from Villa Italia, one of my Favorites!

Many of my friends have asked that I not post them on facebook, so to respect their wishes (and because this blog is linked to my facebook page), I’m not going to share the group photos or individuals of them.

Here is one of my favorites, with my family:

Sue and Claire (I’m not sure if they had help, if so THANKS!!) did an amazing job of making a photo booth, with dozens of props (I can’t imagine how long it took them to make them all, what a lot of cutting!!) Sue wanted themes from every decade I’ve been alive, so there were 60’s, 70’s, 80’s (well you get the idea)… so fun!

My brother-in-law dropped in with my nephews at the end of the party, and they had a ball dressing up for the photos too, I love this one:

This is a great photo of my mother and I… true story I had the same blouse on and almost wore it to the party! Wouldn’t that have been funny?!?!?

I love this one of my niece Jordan and my mom, love their smiles!

Sue, Claire and I- love this one too!!

I am the luckiest girl alive to have such awesome, generous, amazing family and friends!! You made me feel so loved and special and I am so grateful that you helped me celebrate the big 5-0!! I’ve been told there’s more to come, I don’t really know what that means, and I don’t really like surprises, but I have to say if I’ve got to turn 50, and hey- it’s just a number- then I’m all for having fun! Sue, Kristen, Kathy, Mom, Claire, Jordan, Jane, (Eric, Blake and Ethan too!) you are so wonderful and I can’t thank you enough!! Love You!
