I am throwing my hat in the ring for Stampin’ Up! to consider me to be a display stamper for Orlando’s OnStage event in November. I absolutely love all of our stamps, ink, paper, ribbons, embellishments and I treasure the opportunity to come up with some projects to inspire everyone. Thank you for considering me.

Would love to hear what you think about some of my favorite projects. The rules stated we needed to submit three cards, two 3-D objects, and two scrapbook pages.

I am thrilled that 7 of my team, and many wonderful stamping friends, will be at the Orlando OnStage event with me.

Thank you for visiting me!

Lynn

2018-19 Annual Catalog, OnStage, Retired List, Sneak peak, Stampin Up

OnStage Fun!

Hi friends! Wowza, what an AMAZING weekend at Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage event in Hartford, CT! As you can see, 5 of my Lynnzcrafters team came to this event, and we had a blast! Stampin’ Up! is very generous with all the gifts and new products they give us! I’m feeling so thankful and blessed to have been given the opportunity to do a presentation and reveal a gorgeous new Suite of products that will be released in the new catalog on June 1st!

I would like to share my creations that I presented on Saturday for you to see, please leave me a comment and let me know what you think of this new product line, I treasure all your comments!

Introducing in the 2018–2019 annual catalog is a brand new product suite called Nature’s Poem:

This adorable little project is our carrying over pizza boxes. These are 4 of our sweet little 3″ x 3″ note cards and 4 matching envelopes fit nicely inside. I am planning to do this project at my June bingo event.

This card features one of the color palettes from the designer series paper, I love how vibrant the cajon craze is with gold foil paper. This reminds me of autumn in New York.

These two cards were made using the baby wipe technique, I added tranquil tide and mint macaron ink on the baby wipe and then colored in the trunk with soft suede.

This card was actually the project that everyone made who attended Onstage. This nature’s hemp twine is just fabulous to untangle as well as leave alone, the possibilities are endless.

Aren’t you glad to see blackberry bliss back in our lineup of colors? It was a huge secret to keep that there was going to be a color revamp, but I am so thrilled with the choices Stampin’ Up! made to exit 13 of our old colors and shake things up a bit with these gorgeous new and returning favorites! What do you think?

Can you notice the embossing on the leaves up above? The dies that come in this bundle include framelits that cut all of the leaves and trees as well as thinlits that emboss three sets of leaves. So fun and easy to make lots of paper leaves and no more fussy cutting! This bundle coordinates with lovely as a tree, it is staying around in this catalog.

I know this photo was not very clear but I have to share it with you as I cannot share the video recording that my friend made for me. I loved being up on that stage and introducing these gorgeous new products to hundreds of demonstrators who came to Hartford Connecticut. 💗

These two photos represent the wonderful Stampin’ Up! staff who assisted me both in preparing for this presentation and help me the day before and day of with rehearsals. I am so very thankful to Andrea Withers who prepared me for this role, as well as Jessica, Spencer, and Justin! Thanks for all your help guys!

Here is a picture of me and Susan by our display board, Susan’s projects are on the top and she presented a beautiful new detailed bundle. We also got to sit together Friday night at centerstage dinner and the 80s themed party. So much fun!

I wanted to share some information about the changes coming with our color revamp. As you know Stampin’ Up! stays on top of all of the trends and Pantone color choices every year. They carefully watch fashion, home Decore all the various artist mediums. It has been five years since they have shaking things up a bit and even longer since they had this large of a change in our color line up. I am absolutely thrilled with these new colors and only a teensy weensy bit sad to say goodbye to some of our outgoing colors. Please know that everything is now on the rretirement list which posted today it is only available while supplies last.

I hope you enjoyed my post about my onstage experience. I hope to apply and be selected again some day for future Stampin’ Up! event, it was so much fun to get products early and have a chance to play with them and create. Would love to hear from you please leave me a response below! I will do a random draw on Thursday and one lucky winner will receive a set of handmade cards using this bundle from me!

Creative Inking Ready for Spring!

Hi friends!

Happy first day of spring! I had the pure joy of spending the day Sunday with a wonderful group of demonstrators, we had a “shoe box swap ”

This adorable little pouch of candy was our favor, don’t you just love that little bunny? This technique is known as the “diaper fold”.

I loved making this card, this was designed by Regina. This stamp set is called “You’re Inspiring” and it was a breeze to color in with our alcohol markers (called blends).

This cute little card is one I’m going to feature at a private Easter party I’m having tomorrow night. I love it when my customers call me up and say “hey I want to have a party can we make all Easter goodies?” Really looking forward to crafting with some new ladies.

I hope these colorful projects help you feel like you are getting ready for spring!

Thank you so much for visiting me, are you ready to hop over to the next demonstrator? Just click the next button below and you will get to go visit Lori Mueller’s Blog.

CCDT March Madness Blog Hop!

img_4251

Hi there crafty friends and welcome to our March Blog Hop with the Creative Circle Design Team!! Thank you for hopping by today! We are a small, but mighty group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who love to share our creations with all of you! These ladies always amaze me, and I have learned so much from each and every member of this team.

This month our theme is “March Madness” (I know for many people that has a basketball analogy, but I’m no sports fan, sorry)… so I’m opting to share with you five cards I recently did at my stamp a Stack class.

This fun birthday card shows off the Party Animal Designer Series Paper, the base is in emerald envy card stock. The stamp set I used is Badges and Banners, which coordinates beautifully with the Best Badge and Duet Banner punches.  Other colors used are: Pacific Point and Crushed Curry.

This card was so easy to color with our new watercolor pencils and a blender pen on our Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper (this is a free Saleabration item), and a cooper foil dragonfly. (Sadly I have been needing a lot of sympathy cards lately.)

I received a beautiful swap with this set Big on Birthdays and decided to change up the colors. I used calypso coral and wild wasabi markers to color in the flowers and as the cardstock colors for the card base and layer. I used the petal burst textured impressions embossing folder for the base.

This is one of my favorite cards I designed just for this class (and shout out to my team who was over my house for my first ever “Open Studio Day” last month- they gave me wonderful input, and I love how this came out- thanks ladies!).  I just adore the the “Beautiful You” stamp set, stamped with stazon ink on our watercolor paper and used our new water-coloring pencils and an aqua painter. Do you see that shimmer on the umbrella? That is the clear Wink of Stella pen- just a great finishing touch, I think.

This last card is similar to the card I made recently for my dad’s birthday. This used the new “Nailed it” stamp set, matching dies to cut out the tools, and features the new hexagon textured impression embossing folder.

This is one of my most popular classes- I do this on the 4th Monday of every month. It is a 10 card class (2 each of 5 designs) with envelopes. The ladies always love making a whole stack of cards.

2016 Occasions Catalog, Big Shot Projects, Birthday Party!, blog hop, card making, photopolymer stamps, rubber stamping, Sale-a-bration, Stampin Up, We Create Blog Hop

We Create Blog Hop-January 2016

WCBH2016

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday! The Stampin’ Up! demonstrators in the “We Create Blog Hop” are back for another round of amazing inspiration for you all.. Bonus- today is the day the NEW 2016 Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration Catalogs both launch! How fun to create using all new products! Another perk of being a demonstrator- I’ve received my products in early December  and made my December birthday cards with the all new adorable birthday suites. Want to see what I made for my nephew’s birthday on Sunday?

In this blog hop we do one project and then another version is “stepped up”, this time I started Blake’s birthday card and thought I was done, but realized the other day I could use this to showcase a “stepped up” version of a birthday card:

IMG_9860

So I decided on the new jumbo pack of Designer Series Paper called “It’s My Party” (48 pages of 12″ x 12″) item #140552

IMG_9861

I knew I was going to put 10 candles on his cake- so easy with the new mini punch trio called “Party Punch Pack” (YES- it’s a bundle with the stamp set I used!) I love that they have a balloon, cupcake and candle punch! To create the realistic candle- you know with a yellow flame- it is impossible to put these tiny pieces together with anything else… only the new Fine-tip glue pen did the job!

IMG_9862

Here was my first version of Blake’s birthday card… This stamp set is called “Party Wishes” and is just fabulous!  It is part of the new birthday suite called “It’s My Party!” and I LOVE how everything coordinates!!

IMG_9863

I knew I could “Step it up” some more, so I went to work and added the number 10 from the new stamp set called “Number of Years” which is an awesome photopolymer stamp set- so easy to see through and stamp. Then it is die-cut with the new “Large Numbers Framelits” these dies are expected to be a huge seller- you might want to order these today before they go on back order- I guess Stampin’ Up! didn’t realize how popular they would be amongst demonstrators.

IMG_9864

I also decided to “step it up” some more, and added a balloon from the new SaleABration set called Honeycomb Happiness. This is an adorable set- but the honeycombs are also expected to be backordered soon- so if you love it, hurry and order it today!

IMG_9865

Since the honeycomb would become flattened inside an envelope, I decided to design a gift bag to hold his card and gift card together…. love the new “Hello” limited time SaleABration item (this stamp set is only available until February 15th, 2016).

IMG_9866

I had to decorate the inside… love those balloons again! So what do you think? I hope you like it! Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, if you’re ready to hop over to Julie’s blog to see what she created, go ahead and click the “next” button below. If you need the supply list or a link to the catalogs, scroll down as I put all that info at the bottom of this post. Thanks so much, have an awesome day!

Creative Inking Blog Hop- Favorite New Accessory

creative hop

Hello Stamping Friends!

I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend! I am so happy to say I am on vacation, love the “extra time” for that 2nd cup of coffee, chatting with friends on the phone and not feeling rushed, had a 2 day indoor garage sale, and yes- lots of Stamping!! I am so thrilled to back for another 6 months with these awesome, creative, and fun Demonstrators in our next round of Creative Inking Blog Hops! This month the theme is “Favorite New Accessory” from the 2015-16 Annual Catalog. It sure was a close tie for first place, but I decided to feature the new Expressions Natural Elements, our new little wooden cut-outs that are a dream to use (sponge, spritz, emboss or leave plain!)  They are item #138395 and just $5 for a pack of 15 elements; you receive 5 each of three greetings: “Celebrate”, “Congrats” and “Thanks”. These are a great bargain and really add a nice touch to those special cards, or gift packaging. Here are just a few examples of how I have used these awesome little accessories. I hope you enjoy my creations and feel free to leave me a comment- I love to hear from you all!

Don’t you love the font?? I just went “gaga” for it when I saw it in the demo sneak peek!!

Simple, but sweet, don’t you agree?

IMG_2695

The other day we had a retirement party for one of my staff and I made the tag for her “big group gift” from all of us, the “Congrats” element just made this jumbo tag extra sweet, I think.

celebrate

This card is one of my July club creations, I had so much fun designing this card for my club ladies. We had just learned about the “faux patina” technique at a downline get-together earlier this month, and I am crazy about the new stamp set “Awesomely Artistic” (item #139950 for clear mount). I used Island Indigo ink to sponge some color on my element, but some of the club ladies used the gold embossing powder to emboss their words, stunning! So I decided to try some too.

embossed gold

Just dip the word into Versamark ink pad (I have some craft tweezers I use to keep my fingers clean), then pour gold embossing powder over and heat emboss like you would paper… just use the tweezers again to hold/anchor the little words so they don’t fly all over the place.

congrats gold

So not only did I emboss the word in gold embossing powder, but I added our new gold metallic thread (I love this stuff!) and also stepped up the dragonfly with a layer of vellum wings.

dragonfly

Here’s a close up of the dragonfly, use glue dots, it’s so much easier to hold this together!
Well, what did you think of MY favorite new accessory?? What is YOUR favorite? Can’t wait to hear from you!

Oh Happy Day!!!

cattyMany of us Stampin’ Up! Fans have been eagerly awaiting this day- June 2nd- the day the new catalog launches and the old 2014-15 Annual Catalog and 2015 Occasions Catalog are all available at the same time! This is the LAST day to get retiring items, but you can mix your order with new as well.

My favorite set in the new catalog is The Sprinkles of Life in fact- in my ten years of using Stampin’ Up! products, I can say it is truly my ALL time favorite Ronald McDonald House Charities® stamp set.  Ronald McDonald House Charities® keeps families together while children are receiving medical treatment far from home. When you purchase the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set, Stampin’ Up! donates $3 to the RMHC. To date Stampin’ Up! has donated over $1,000,000. to the RHMC. If you are wondering where to find it in the new catalog- it is on the inside back cover- the very last item in the catalog.

This set has a awesome coordinating, Tree Builder Punch, to cut down on fussy cutting. There is so much you can do with this stamp set and punch.

I have been having a lot of fun playing with this stamp set for the past few weeks, we were able to pre-order this last month. I am doing a Make and Take tomorrow night at a demonstrator get-together at my upline’s house, and I made my swaps and 3 other samples to showcase the versatility of this stamp and punch! Let me know what you think:

Happy St. Patrick’s Day and March Projects

Top O’ the Morning to ya! (can you hear my Irish brogue??)

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, I wanted to share some special cards I made over the past 2 weeks:

IMG_1102 IMG_1099 IMG_1100 IMG_1101 IMG_1098

A few of these you did see before- as I entered two of them in the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge on 3/9 and I’m happy to say they picked one of my cards as their “Artist’s Pick”- YIPPEE! So excited about that!

I think I’ve shared with you that I don’t repeat cards/projects in my various events. So when I plan my club projects- I usually don’t repeat them, but this weekend I had my OpportuniTEA event and was so tickled pink to have some fun ladies over- and wanted them to make a tea related project and an Easter basket. Here’s what the OpportuniTEA event from Sunday looked like:

IMG_1214 IMG_1216 IMG_1217 IMG_1218 IMG_1221 IMG_1222

Well all three guests agreed to sign up and as of this moment Sharon has officially joined under Jamie- Congratulations to you both! And now Jamie just earned a promotion to Senior Supervisor (that’s really good Kudos Jamie!). Carol is also going to sign up under Jamie too! Yippee- Jamie’s Gems are growing! And I had great luck with Laurie signing up on Saturday after club- it was a spur of the moment decision that was guided by my friend (and downline Amye) telling her “if you just spend $40 more you can get a lot of free stuff by joining” I love that logic- sometimes it’s the “savings” and “earning free Stampin’ Up! goodies” that clinches it, you know?  And then Brigid also agreed to sign up! Amye has a recruit on the way this week, so this is really a week full of BLESSINGS beyond measure. I feel like the divine hand of God is at play, and this is my third Anniversary since my surgery for endometrial cancer- so I’m feeling extra blessed for sure.

Last, but certainly not least- are my March club projects- everyone loved them, and I’m so glad I could bring some Easter joy through stamping to all these special ladies:

If these projects don’t scream “Spring is coming” I don’t know what does! Which one do you like the best? They were fun to create- I had some inspiration from Pinterest for the little chick. Also was inspired by Aly S. for the “hi” card using the new Saleabration items- I used three of our new March options just on that one card- can you spot them all?

Well, that it’s for now, I have to head in to work early to get the crock pot going- we’re having an Irish lunch today and I can’t wait.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day and be safe out there, thanks for visiting my blog! Come back on Friday- I’m in another Blog Hop and you’ll love all the spring and Easter projects and inspiration from the other 12 demonstrators and myself too of course.
