Have you ever had a moment when you are truly surprised, and overwhelmed, and feel more blessed than you think you deserve?? These moments are very rare for me (the surprise part)… I feel blessed every day to have such amazing and loving family and friends and am especially thankful for all the new friends I have made in the years that I have been stamping. Becoming a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator was at first a “scary” decision, but my only regret was not signing up years earlier! Who knew that I would be blessed by knowing such generous, amazing people!
So, unbeknownst to me, several of my downline, my upline, and my sidelines (who I have been helping with their blogs), they decided to create a one of a kind card- it is so much more than a card- it is a work of love and art- and I will treasure it always… Karyn Morrison organized the group with directions and pieces that they completed by mail, as one of my downline was in Florida for the winter (hi Judy) and another was on the road with her hubby and their trucking business (hi Kim), and they all chipped in and gifted me not only with this beautiful card, but also two very generous gift cards that I am going to enjoy using at convention this summer. I am still blown away that you ladies did this for me, and that Karyn hand delivered it to me on Wednesday, so that April- my 50th birth-month, was truly complete. (Yes, that is the cafeteria at Schenectady County Community College- Karyn met me after work, before my part time job- teaching at SCCC).
Karyn even made a special box (thank you envelope punch board!)
The theme of the card was the 2013-15 In Colors and Owl Builder punch by Stampin’ Up!
Each segment is so unique and sweet and special and amazing, just like the ladies who created them!
I cannot thank you enough Karyn, Dania, Jamie, Kim, Judy, Amye, Jan, and Pam!! You are so talented, generous and I love you all!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
Well, I have more to blog about- it was a busy busy weekend, but I’m saving more for tomorrow, so come back and visit me, okay? Leave a comment, would you? I love hearing from my readers! What did you work on this weekend?
Have a great day!
