Good morning friends! Can you tell I’ve been burning the midnight oil? I have been stamping every night this week (and all weekend last weekend) and I have so many ideas, projects and exciting new cards to share with you- I’m practically bursting at the seams! Today you will see the 3 cards my friends will be making at my August Clubs (Saturday morning and Monday night once a month). What do you think?? I adore the new Photopolymer set “Dear Heart” (the boy version of the “Sweetie Pie” set that sold out a few months ago- what do you think?

This card is a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from Pinterest by a stamper named Heidi- thanks so much for the inspiration! I always let my stampers change the greetings, if they want, this card would be perfect for someone going off to college, or a birthday, get well, thinking of you, and many more occasions!

Fun Fold Card Swap

Spoiler alert for any of my Whirlwind Stamping stamping demonstrators who are swapping this month… but I was so excited with how my card came out, I decided to blog about it today!

So our August Stamp and Share Get Together with Dania Welch’s downline is tonight, and I challenged myself to do a swap card that features ALL new Products, new stamp set, new Designer Series Paper AND was a “Fun or Fancy Fold”. So I thought I would break out my brand new “Amazing Birthday” stamp set that I received free at Convention last month. I also thought about how challenging masculine cards can be, and thought of the patriotic colors in the Maritime DSP…. well, this was NOT quick to make, it was a lot of stamping, punching, fussy cutting and yes, some mistakes were made…. but I’m pretty happy with how it came out- what do you think?

Want to know how I made it? Well, it is a Screen Card (I sure hope this is a “Fancy” enough fun fold card, it sure was challenging to make it!)

Coastal Cabana base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/4″ Scored at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″ then punched bottom “Legs” using Decorative label punch and made the top with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.

Then Stamped each image from Amazing Birthday in Real Red, Coastal Cabana and Night of Navy ink pads, hand cut the “happy”, “today” and “amazing” words. Used the circle punches for the birthday cake and used the Little Labels punch pack for “make”. Used banner framelits to cut out the “Happy birthday to you” and the DSP behind it. Hi Friends!

I had an amazing weekend full of stamping fun- how was your weekend?? The weather was just perfect and I was so blessed to be a part of a wonderful community event in Rexford on Saturday. It was a Craft Fair/Vendor Fair and they had wonderful kids activities, I met so many wonderful people and had so many family and friends come to visit me- it was just perfect- thank you all!

This was my awesome spot- right by the back door!

I could keep an eye on the kids when they went to bounce in the Firehouse Bounce House…. so cute!

I’m never quite sure what will sell the best- and for this event the winner was the little mini purses! I sold out (thanks to my new friend the Pampered Chef rep Sandy)… that’s one of the best parts of these events- is meeting so many nice people!

My cards did great as well- I just need to remember to bring sentiments/ink pads as several people wanted to stamp a greeting on the inside- I need to add that to my list of things to bring next time!

My newest addition was these Nautical Framed art pieces- inspired by a swap we did last month with a group of demonstrators.

This musician was fantastic! I had the best booth location to be next to this guy- it was great to meet you John and I look forward to many hours listening to your CD.

Thanks to Judy, Sue, Claire, Ethan and Blake for your company, assistance and encouragement- I am so blessed to have your support- it really helped the day just fly by for me, and I can’t thank you enough!!!

So this new catalog will go live at 2 pm our time today, I will be updating my blog later on after work. But if you are in a hurry to get your first order in, my online store will be ready at 2 pm.
