Hi there Stamping Friends!

Just a quick post to let you know we are furiously planning two more big events for you- and please help us spread the word to all your friends and family, the more the merrier!

First up: Saturday May 16th from 9:30 am to Noon (we have the room until 1 pm, but plan to be there by 11 am at the latest so you have time to make your five cards) at the Burnt Hills United Methodist Church we are having a Last Chance Stamp Camp! This event will feature 5 cards with stamp sets that are retiring (all new cards of course- never a repeat with us!) Here’s our plan for the 5 cards:

Congratulations (appropriate for Graduation or just “Good job” to someone)
Father’s Day (or appropriate for a male birthday/thinking of you/thank you)
3 All Occasion Cards that you can customize with any sentiments/greetings you’d like!

The early bird deadline for $10 registration was supposed to be today, but I’m feeling generous and will extend that to Monday May 4th, then if you register between May 5-9th, and if there is still space available- then registration fee is $15 per person. (Registration means signing up and paying).

*Due to the vigorous amount of time to cut, score, and bundle all the “parts” to make these cards, we need to adhere to the deadline. Thanks for understanding!!

Next up: Lynnzcrafters Team BOGO Sale/New Catalog Kick Off Party: Saturday June 6th from 9 am to 1 pm at the Burnt Hills United Methodist Church My team and I are happy to be bringing you another fun sale of our retired Stampin’ Up! products (and some other arts and crafts supplies too!) It will be similar to the sale we did in March… but this time there is no card making station as we’ll have more items for sale so we need the room for sale items! Also, this time for every dollar you spend on our sale items, you will then get to spend on brand new products in the new 2015-16 Annual Catalog (plus shipping and handling). *local delivery or ship to your home for a minimum shipping fee. Free catalog with minimum purchase that day!

Hi Friends! Hope you are having a nice weekend! I thought I would just catch up with sharing some awesome cards with you… birthday, spring fling, and my stamp a stack class… enjoy!

Next up, want to share the five cards that Amye and I prepared for our Spring Fling event yesterday, it was a small group- but everyone had a nice time!

I don’t know what I would do without my fabulous team- huge kudos to Amye for prepping and teaching some awesome techniques on two cards (the flower patch and birthday balloon); lots of thanks to Jamie for making a cute treat holder for each attendee (I didn’t take any pictures of that!) and many thanks to Amye, Jamie, Wendy and Sharon for coming to help for the afternoon, it made it so nice and relaxing for all the stampers. You guys are the best!! Ready to do it again on May 16th? (Mark your calendars- we’re doing a morning class more news to come soon!)

I want to invite you all to our next Lynnzcrafters event on Saturday April 25th from 3-5:30 pm. We previously advertised this as a Bingo event, but due to limited interest in Bingo, we are shifting gears and will instead have a wonderful Spring Fling- Card Making Class.
Come make 5 cards with us and receive a beautiful door prize (hand made treat holder) just for attending.

You’re Invited to Our Stamping Soiree!

Want a fun morning out with friends? This is a family friendly event, held in my church hall, all are welcome! Come make 4 cards and have some snacks. Cost is only $10 per person. BONUS- were trying something new- sign up one NEW friend who has never stamped with us before, and one person can come for FREE (or you can split the cost and pay $5 each when you register). If you want to bring 3 friends with you who have never stamped before it would be $20 for the group.

Registration is only open until February 18th, 2015. (or while space is available).

Look What We Made…

I hope you all had a very nice Veteran’s Day, did you thank a vet?

I was so happy to be able to organize another Christmas Card Stamp Camp for my team and customers. I was a little surprised with how many people didn’t have that day off from work, so although some of my team and customers couldn’t attend, those that did had a great time.

Here’s the line of up cards that we made and some other fun photos to show you:

This was a super cute and fun card, knowing some children were coming, I thought a Santa card was appropriate! This card was inspired by Ronda W, my business coach, I saw this in one of her emails and knew I wanted to case it.

I thought that the Paper Pumpkin kit from last November would be an awesome addition, and would show off the high quality card stock and projects. The “NOEL” card was made as is (there are directions in each kit with photos and all the steps broken down for you). I just cut the card base in half to get double the cards, came up with the banner framelit option using “Mingle All the Way” stamp set with the Smoky Slate ink pad. Everyone loved the star garland, and according to Wendy, who made them last year herself, they are not that difficult. I am planning to make some this year.

My third card for Stamp Camp yesterday was a more involved card, coloring with blendabilities with our new Photopolymer stamp set called Gentle Peace. Each card came out unique and stampers used many variations of color to make their cards, so pretty.

Jamie came up with this awesome card design and stampers made one in each color. Love the snowflake embellishments!

Last but certainly not least was this awesome sparkly iridescent card by Wendy:

We enjoyed some yummy cookies while we stamped the afternoon away. It was so great to see everyone, and I thank all those who came and stamped with us.

Awesome Stamp Camp!

Happy Monday Friends!

Yesterday was our first Lynnzcrafters Stamp Camp in Scotia- it went really well! I think the pictures speak a thousand words:

One of the highlights of Stamp Camp for ME was learning that Tiffany Williams decided to join the Stampin’ Up! Family and she signed up to be on my team! Welcome Tiffany!! I can’t wait to stamp some more with you!!

I had to throw this last picture in there- since we were so close to Jumping Jacks, Amye, Jamie and I decided to grab dinner after stamp camp… Jamie ordered the same burger as Amye and I- only she didn’t know a Jackburger is a double burger- too funny!

Shout out to Amye, Jamie, Judy for all their help with set up and helping all the stampers! ANother shout out to Sheila and Nicole for helping us with clean up at the end. Special thanks to all who attended- I didn’t get pictures of you all, bummer- I was trying to get every stamper in action- but I missed several of you.

The room was nice and cool, spacious and very conducive to our Stamp Camp- we might be back again. THe cards we made/collected will be sent to the Wounded Warriors by June 20th- if you couldn’t make it to Stamp Camp, and you want to donate some hand-made cards- please let me know and I’ll be happy to collect them from you to include in our package.

Sunday June 8^th, 2014 from 1-4pm

@ Beukendaal Lodge- newly renovated banquet room

(down 1 flight of stairs, but there is an accessible chair if you cannot climb stairs)

This is not your ordinary Stamp Camp! Open to stampers of all ages, no experience necessary!

Stamp Camp fee is $25 per person due to Lynn Streifert by May 31, 2014 (address/registration below).

This is a new catalog launch party, all cards feature Stampin’ Up!’s beautiful new In-Colors, all new stamp sets and big shot dies/folders/framelits! You will make 8 cards during stamp camp. You can choose to leave as many as you want (or bring your own cards you made at home) for the Wounded Warriors Project. (We hope that every participant donates at least one card). Please note no glitter or sparkly objects can be used as it poses a danger to the soldiers. You will need to bring your stamping supplies (scissors, adhesives, etc)

Please feel free to share this information with any stamping friends you know who might enjoy this type of event. We hope to repeat “Cards for a Cause” on a monthly basis, if there is interest- and benefiting a variety of worthy causes that are near and dear to the Lynnzcrafters team. (we have talked about cards for Ronald McDonald House, and Operation Give2TheTroops as well as many for local charities and the American Cancer Society).

*Stamp Camp Registration would make an awesome Mother’s Day gift! If you’d like to “gift” a special lady with this class, contact me for a gift certificate!

We should have photos available on the cards we are going to feature, but we are all eagerly awaiting the arrival of our new stamps and supplies (they come from Utah you know).
