I’m home!!!!!!!!!!!  Did you miss me??? I’m sure your inbox was sad I wasn’t posting every day- mental note- next year I’m taking my own laptop to convention! That’s right- you heard me, I’m planning a trip next summer back to Salt Lake City! Once you’ve experienced the fantastic city, the warm people, the generosity of Stampin’ Up! Company and Staff, you’ll know what I mean! I can’t believe I waited this long to go!! (Don’t get me wrong my two Leadership Trips were fantastic too! and I’m planning to join them in January since the Manager’s Reception is at DISNEY!!) Yup- spending my vacation time for Stampin’ Up! seems to be the right thing for me- at least next year!

So, I wasn’t sure what you’d want to see first. I took over 1,000 photos between my iphone and my Canon Rebel… some of them didn’t come out great, but luckily most of them did! Let me start today’s blog with a post about my wonderful teammates who made my first convention so memorable! The photo at the top of this post was taken by Amye as we left Salt Lake City yesterday- isn’t this amazing?!?! So beautiful there!

IMG_9853

Jamie and Amye are two of my downline who were able to make it on this trip with me….Jamie- I love the little “L” photo holder, and Amye I adore the little notebook, thanks for being great travel buddies, roomies and wonderful downline! Thanks for putting up with some of my complaining and grumpiness… going to work on being in better shape for next year!

And here’s hoping next summer we can have even more of the Lynnzcrafters team join us! Mark your calendars ladies- convention 2015 is going to be July 22-25, 2015!  You can sign up to join my team anytime- but if you want to join us in Salt Lake City next summer, then you’ll need to be sure you are an “active” demonstrator in April 2015 so you can register to go- if you want to join us- or have questions- let me know!!

IMG_0990

Hats off to Val and Barb who not only gifted us with some amazing treats (see below), but they accompanied us to dinner, and showed us the town, so glad we could be spontaneous and venture out together! Thank you ladies!!

IMG_0021

The little floral notebook was made by Amye, the Inspire. Create. Share. box of goodies was made by Val and the pouch “Convention Survival Kit” was made by Barb. Notice some of our free stamps and my little Halloween treat bag?? The burlap bags are a sneak peek for the September Paper Pumpkin Kits! (sorry if I spoiled the surprise for anyone- but I know many of you have commented how you would like to know in advance what is coming).  There’s another sneak peek in there- see it?? It’s a new stamp set that will be in the Holiday Catalog that goes live to customers on August 28th, (demonstrators can “pre-order” on August 1st and for those of us who went to convention, we could buy select items in the Convention Store! I had one of my checked luggage chuck full of my purchases!

IMG_0968

This was Amye waiting in the “S” line, right after Barb and Val found us and gave us our gifts! We were pretty overwhelmed with the size of the place and to see how many demonstrators were all there to check in at the same time we were… after we got our goodies, we went to check out the Paper Pumpkin Fun Night Out Party!

IMG_0969

We were amazed at all the goodies we were given when we arrived!

IMG_0970

Thanks for being such good sports as I snapped photos all week long!

IMG_0971

The Paper Pumpkin Night Out was so fun! In addition to getting to make one of the September goodie bags, for all of us who were subscribers we received a free snail with a Paper Pumpkin logo on it, and we enjoyed some yummy desserts and had lots of samples of past kits made up in amazing ways!! At one point I got up – probably to get another brownie 🙂 , when I came back to the table, Amye said my name and a quote were up on the big screen! I was so tickled pink! It was a survey I had filled out last month in the Paper Pumpkin Boot Camp weekly surveys!

IMG_0979

And shout out to my Paper Pumpkin Subscribers who signed up before June 30th to help me earn another free stamp set! I wish I had time to call all my customers to personally ask you questions… suffice to say I have to rely on technology (Facebook, email, blog post, newsletters, Twitter and Instagram) most of the time, one of the classes I attended at convention talked about scheduling telephone time- I am going to do it!

IMG_0973

The room was packed with thousands of demonstrators, treats and samples!!

IMG_0059

These are some of Amye’s swaps- she made 100 and swapped all but 3 (I believe- if I remember correctly). We poured over them and two of her swap cards inspired our Stamp-a-Stack event that occurs on Monday! Registration is now closed. We have 20 ladies coming on the 28th, and it will be lots of fun! We will have specials for that night only, and you will love the 4 cards, I just know it!

That’s all for today! Stop back tomorrow for Convention aka Inspire.Create.Share. 2014 post #3!! Thanks for stopping by today!

We have a lot of promotions going on right now:

Operation Jordan’s Graduation Party- a Great Success!

Many of you know that my niece Jordan is like a daughter to me. From the time she was born we had a special bond. My first niece, and with my brother and sister-in-law in the restaurant business, I was blessed to be able to have her on the weekends when they worked, along with her other Aunts too, and my parents during the work week, this kid never went to daycare. Well, she just graduated from high school last month and we just had her big Graduation party yesterday. They say it takes a village to raise a child, it was so true for this kid- and for her party!

Here she is:

IMG_0322

Here are just a few highlights (with the crafty element) that I thought you’d appreciate: My sister Sue created these yummy chocolate brownies and chocolate cupcakes with a graduation cap topper! How cute are these???

IMG_9813

IMG_9814

IMG_9815

Here are some of the decorations I made for the party and we had a Project Life station where guests could jot Jordan a “Note or a Quote” and then we had a Photo Booth – I saved room in the back of her album for a graduation section and we’ll insert all the notes from people with their photos.

Well I took over 100 photos, I don’t think you want to see all of them, plus I have to get ready for work! I was so tired last night that I took a shower and went right to bed!

Thanks for stopping by to visit my blog today! More tomorrow about my July Club projects!

Happy Monday!

I have to say that I have used these markers repeatedly and I don’t have a favorite color yet… they color so beautifully.) Well- now you know how I feel- overwhelmed, right?? Sorry about that, but I really wanted you all to have this information. And I hope to stamp with you soon!

I’m so very thankful that you’ve visited me today and I am here to help you with all these tough decisions! Some of them are rather time sensitive (the Dear Heart will likely sell out as quickly as Sweetie Pie stamp set did).

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I hope you are not sweltering too much and I hope you get some crafty time soon!

Happy Earth Day!

Hi There Stamping Friends!

Happy Earth Day!

earthday

I have to admit something to you… I used to be “kind of upset” to share my birthday with Earth Day (isn’t that so immature??) It’s only been the last twenty years that I’ve been able to embrace and enjoy Earth Day being on MY birthday… just being honest here. My sister and my BFF used to do some Earth Day parties when we lived in Mont Pleasant for the neighborhood kids… I had a flash back to that this morning as I sat in my prayer chair and gave thanks to God for such a blessed life. I honestly teared up this morning thinking of how fortunate I am and it was overwhelming to get so many phone calls, texts, emails, e-cards, Facebook messages and the mailman has been bringing me such great mail!

I thought I would share the homemade cards I have received so far… I plan to continue celebrating my 50th birthday for the rest of the month!

bday4

bday5

bday1

bday3

bday2

Please don’t get me wrong- I LOVE all my cards- the store bought ones are touching and special to me to- it’s the thought that counts, right! I just thought that since you are reading my blog about stamping/papercrafting- that you would enjoy seeing the handmade cards, am I right?

I took today off from my “real job” so I could sleep in, have a leisurely morning, and later I’m going out to lunch and get pedicures with my loved ones… then later tonight my family is having my birthday dinner. I can’t wait- my brother (who’s a chef), his wife (is an amazing cook too!) and my sister (the best cake baker ever!!) are going to spoil me. The best part is being surrounded by my family, we are so close- not just physically close, but our emotional ties go deep… and I am so blessed to have my family.

I went on our Stampin’ Up! website this morning and was so happy to see a new announcement about Paper Pumpkin! This is the BEST news I could imagine, Paper Pumpkin keeps getting better and better!

Paper Pumpkin Prepaid FAQs
Q: What is a prepaid subscription?

A: Prepaid subscriptions provide an opportunity to purchase several months of Paper Pumpkin all at once. These orders can be placed on a customer, workshop, demonstrator, or online order. Plus they will qualify for hostess benefits.

Q: How many prepaid months can I purchase at once?
A: You can select a subscription for one, three, six, or 12 months.

Q: Is there a discount for ordering a higher number of months at once?
A: Yes, there is a savings. When you order a six-month subscription, you save $1 per month, and when you order a 12-month subscription, you save $2 per month.

Q: Can I order more than one prepaid subscription at once?
A: Each Paper Pumpkin account can only use one redemption code at a time. For example, if someone buys two six-month prepaid subscriptions, they’ll enter the first code and then, after six months, enter the second code.

Q: How are prepaid subscriptions redeemed?
A: When the order is paid for and closed, you will receive an e-mail with a redemption code and instructions on how to redeem. The e-mail will guide you to http://www.mypaperpumpkin.com where you will enter your code. The system will recognize the number of months you’ve paid for.

Q: Can a current subscriber order a prepaid subscription?
A: Of course! After you order and enter the code, the prepaid months will be used up before any future shipments are charged. When the prepaid months are over, the subscription will continue and be charged monthly to the credit card on file. Keep in mind that if a current subscriber is already attached to a demonstrator, the existing subscription will remain with the original demonstrator.

Q: Can a prepaid subscription be ordered with a hostess code?
A: Yes! You can go online and enter any of the prepaid subscription item numbers so the hostess can get credit!

Q: Can I buy a prepaid subscription with hostess benefits?
A: Yes. A prepaid subscription can be added to either the free or half-priced hostess items.

Q: Can a prepaid subscription be ordered as a gift?
A: Yes. Although this isn’t officially a gift subscription program, you can buy a prepaid subscription and give it as a gift. You’d just purchase the prepaid subscription and when you receive the redemption code, share it with the recipient of your choice who can redeem the subscription at http://www.mypaperpumpkin.com. One thing to keep in mind is that the redemption codes will not work across borders. (So, someone in Canada could not gift a subscription to someone is the US and vice versa.)

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, it’s a great time to take advantage of these prepaid subscriptions that can be bought as gifts. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!

Item Paper Pumpkin Prepaid Subscription Price (Shipping Included)
137858 1 month $19.95

questions. answers.

Q: What types of Project Life products will Stampin’ Up! offer?

A: You’ll see Card Collections, Accessory Packs, Albums, Photo Pocket Pages, tools, other accessories, and Stamps, of course!

Q: Are the card designs the same as what we can buy in the stores?

A: Nope! We have worked with Stampin’ Up! to design all new products that are super fun and a perfect match to their existing color lines which will make coordination a breeze. Some of the Photo Pocket Page designs are the same and some are different than what we currently offer.

Q: How do I buy these products?

A: Beginning May 1st, you can purchase products directly through a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (ummm, hello- that’s ME!)

Q: Why order through a demonstrator?

A: Stampin’ Up! has a worldwide demonstrator base who understand their products better than anyone. Many offer in-home workshops, online parties, and local events (of course I am gearing up to plan all new Project Life events!!). The personal expertise and service make purchasing through a demonstrator a wonderful and unique experience and can also form great friendships!

Q: Where do I learn about becoming a demonstrator?

A: Ask me… I’m happy to help YOU.

Q: How do I sign up to become a demonstrator so I can sell Project Life myself and make money doing it?

Each card will be printed front + back as all of our current products, but you will not receive duplicates of any cards in the set. Oh – And we’re doing square (not rounded) corners on all of our cards with Stampin’ Up! Yes, there’s an awesome corner rounder punch included in the product line-up if that floats your boat. There will also be Accessory Packs available (sold separately) that will contain a variety of accessories to complement the Card Collection.

It’s one thing to tell someone about Project Life and explain how easy it really is. It’s another thing to be able to sit down with someone and show them just how beautifully simple the scrapbooking process can be with Project Life. They immediately “get it.” They see with their own eyes what a no-brainer, solution-based system this is. And should they choose to get more creative – Project Life by Stampin’ Up! offers the coolest coordinating embellishments for everywhere! In the coming weeks we’ll be sharing more about the actual product so you can see the cool designs and get excited for what’s about to land at many of your front doors.

Top 5 reasons everyone loves Project Life

Save time. Save Stress.

The organization and design that is Project Life is already figured our for you. Different from traditional scrapbooking, there is no stress about where to place photos, which papers to use, techniques to incorporate, products to coordinate. The work is done. You just add your photos and journaling.

No more guilt.

Gone are the days that you feel bad about not doing something with your pictures or your kids’ pictures. Now you can actaully get those pictures off the coomputer and into a format that can be enjoyed. Project Life makes photo-displaying and story-telling fun and easy.

Improve your skills.

Knowing that your pictures and memories are going to be preserved and enjoyed in Project Life, you will naturally improve your photography and writing skills.

Incredible Value

We love making scrapbooking not only simple, but affordable. You will have a hard time finding better prices for what you get, especially given the impeccable quality.

It’s therapeutic

Whether you add pictures and stories to your Project Life album on a daily, weekly, monthly, or even sporadic basis, you will inevitably find yourself more keenly aware of your blessings and priorities.

I cannot tell you how over-the-top EXCITED I was when I learned that we were going to begin offering this high quality line of products! I have “almost caved” numerous times when I was shopping in the craft store and I saw Becky’s beautiful Project Life items, I am so glad that I held out and waited for her to join Stampin’ Up! and partner to bring her awesomeness with our exclusive, brilliant colors, and it is going to totally re-define how I scrapbook. Record memories. Document family events, milestones, or everyday life. Want to leave a “time capsule” for some special people? I will be planning a Project Life Doorbuster Event… let me know if you would like to be invited and help us launch our newest product line! I’m thinking it will be an awesome idea to hold in a big space… please leave a comment if you are interested, so I can begin to tally up how many people I should plan for…. can’t wait to get my hands on these new products.
