Jumbo Gift Card Holder- Gnome for the Holidays

Hi Friends!

Today is Day 2 in my Gift Card Holder series. Today I am featuring the “Jumbo Gift Card Holder”…. you know how sometimes gift cards you purchase at the market come all packaged up inside sealed package? Well, those usually don’t fit in our traditional gift card holders unless you rip them out of their packaging. Well not anymore- here you go!

Jumbo Gift Card Holder-Gnome for the Holidays:

  1. Cut Balmy Blue cardstock base: 10 ¼” x 5 ½” and score at 1 ¾” and at 6” along the long side.
  2. Cut Snowflake Splendor DSP: 5 ¼” x 4” (front cover) and 5 ¼” x 1 ¾” coordinating piece for strip on top of previous piece. Cut the coordinating piece for inside: 5 ¼” x 1 ½” that is glued onto a piece of whisper white that is 4 ½” x 3”. Adhere all DSP to cardstock. Punch a half circle notch from inside the piece with 1 ½” circle punch, then adhere two sides with tear and tape.
  3. Cut medium celebration dies out of whisper white cardstock. Stamp gnome and tree on the shape. Color in with Blends: granny apple green, balmy blue, crumb cake, smoky slate, night of navy. Adhere to the top of the card front with dimensionals.
  4. Cut snowflakes from Balmy Blue glimmer paper and adhere
  5. Add 5 Iridescent pearls on snowflakes.
  6. Stamp greeting in pacific point ink on inside piece of whisper white.

What do you think? Do you love gnomes as much as me? You should see my Christmas decorations, so many cute gnomes have found their way to my house over the years.

Thanks for visiting me today!

You receive 1 free item per $50 you spend, and there are a few items at “level 2” which means they count as two selections, or can be your free item with a purchase over $100.

I’ve updated my side bar with the new catalogs, but here they are for you:

2020 Saleabration:

Click to access 20200103_SAB20-1_en-US.pdf

New this year, the reward for hosting a qualifying party (or order) over $300 is this Free Lady Bug Stamp Set:

*Guess what? Next month as part of our Coordination Release of new products- there will be DIES to cut these cute images out! How cool?@!

I must tell you about the very best deal during Sale A Bration- The Starter Kit!!

During Sale A Bration 2020,

you get quite a bit for the $99 price tag:

1. Choose $125 in product from the Annual or Spring catalog

2. Free Mini Trimmer

3. Free Designer Series paper sample pack (see photo above)

4. One more stamp set of your choice!( Go ahead, pick the most expensive set on your wishlist!)

5. Free Shipping!!

Did you know that when you purchase the Starter Kit, you actually earn a 20% discount off EVERY purchase for the next 3 months? In fact, it’s actually longer than three months. If you purchase the Starter Kit in January, you actually have until the end of June to take full advantage of that discount on all Stampin’ Up products!

What’s In A Starter Kit?

Anything you want! Yes, REALLY! For just $99 (FREE SHIPPING too!!) you choose up to $125 of ANYTHING in the Spring Catalog, Annual Catalog or even off the Clearance Rack! Plus, as I mentioned above, you get the Mini Trimmer, DSP Sample Pack and one more stamp set of your choice.

What’s the Catch?

There is NO catch! I know, sometimes, we think there is something hidden that we don’t find out until after we purchase the kit. But here, truly there is no catch! The only requirement to remain an active Demo is a quarterly minimum. And as a new Demo, you actually have until the following quarter to meet it (June 30!) And what if you don’t meet it? You just become a customer again and lose the discount. That’s it! But, I have a feeling you will love the benefits so much that you will never want to let that happen!

Do I have to have a blog, make videos or hold classes?

Nope. Again, this is what you want it to be. If you want to purchase the Starter Kit just to enjoy the discount- great! You are what I like to think of as a “preferred customer.” You get all the benefits but don’t have to actually run a business. But, if you want to run a business, you can! And I’m here to help guide you with that if you want.

What Are the Benefits?

The biggest benefit, in my opinion, is that you become a Lynnzcrafter! That’s the name of my team and we are growing with leaps and bounds! My team is spread out throughout the Capital District Region of New York, and we have some Floridians as well! So, we do lots of things in person and some things online… We swap monthly, we have creative challenges, we have celebrations! But the best part is- we support each other! Many of my team have chosen to make a business out of their Starter Kit and many have chosen to support their hobby with a discount. I welcome ALL new demos to my team regardless of why they purchase the Starter Kit.

Official List of Benefits:

  • 20% discount
  • Potential to earn up to 38% of your sales
  • Early and exclusive access to new products
  • Opportunity to earn free product through various incentives
  • Qualify for cash bonuses, free product, incentive trips and more

Glitter & Glam Girls Holiday Ideas

Hello Crafty Friends!

Hope you are doing well, and here it is November already, and hopefully you are getting ready for Christmas and our wonderful winter Holidays! I have been frantically planning my 2nd Annual Crafty Christmas Retreat, Onstage swaps and team gifts, my clubs, Stamp-a-Stacks and Bingo nights. There is so little time, so I have to plan things out in stages and with deadlines.

A few weeks ago I had a special day for the girls on my team who earned a special day with me I call it Way to Go Day! I have this special event once every quarter and it is for the top four in sales and anyone who promotes in title or recruits a new demonstrator. There are always gifts, a yummy meal and of course creating something FUN!

Here is one of the special projects we made:

This 12″ x 12″ shadow box frame was inspired by my friend Christine- I saw a sampler she shared on facebook with this designer series paper, and I knew that was going to be my base.

Here are the dimensions:

Whisper White 12″ x 12″ is the base

Coastal Cabana, nine squares are 3″ x 3″

Flirty Flamingo on 4 squares and then 5 Blueberry Bushel are 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″

Designer Series Paper and Whisper White squares are 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″.

See supply list below.

Glitter & Glam Girls Blog Hop- June

Hello and welcome to the monthly blog hop of a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. We are scattered all over the US, and today we are featuring projects that are “Summer Fun”. Well to me, that theme means sitting outside and bird watching, or going on vacation, or swimming. What does “Summer Fun” mean to you? Here in Upstate NY, we had a pretty cold and wet spring, winter hung on too long for my liking.  So, when I was getting ready for this blog hop, and looked at the new stamp sets and products that I have pre-ordered from the new Stampin’ Up! 2019-29 Annual Catalog, I decided to showcase this amazing new Bird Ballad Suite! I also pulled in the Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (item #149487). These products go live in the new catalog at about 2 pm Eastern Time on Tuesday June 4th.

Stampin’ Up! continues to amaze me with their amazing product suites. The Bird Ballad Suite has 1 order number, if you want one of everything in the suite, like me: the cling mount Free as a Bird stamp set, the stitched nested labels dies (I did not use on these projects- but they work wonderfully! I highly recommend these dies!), the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, Bird Ballad Laser Cut Cards & Tin, 3/8″ Scalloped Lace Trim, and Bird Ballad Trinkets. For all these items you would use item #152190.

I love the image of the 4 birds on a branch, and could see many uses for this card – including giving it to a dear friend or as a thank you card. By pulling in the Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Cards & Envelopes I knew I would be able to retain the full size bird image, add some DSP and I even used the leaf punch on our new Perennial Essence 12″x 21″ Vellum Cardstock (three colors are included: old olive, petal pink, and so saffron), you get 4 sheets of each color (Item #149101)

Of course the star of the show here is our amazing Stampin’ Blends. These alcohol markers are awesome- each one has a thin tip and brush end and come in light and dark shades of each color we carry. I’m so excited that on June 4th we will be introducing 6 new colors to our Blends collection (they are at the top of my list to buy on June 4th).

So I actually designed these projects last month and they were featured at my Lynnzcrafters New Catalog Launch Demonstrator meeting. Everyone received this sweet little notebook which was a breeze to put together (thanks to my friend Laurie who came to help me). I got the mini notebooks at Target. Perfect size for keeping in your purse.

We actually learned at OnStage that the DSP was created by the concept artist and colored with our Stampin’ Blends, making perfect coordination with any project you decide to make. Did you see my post here featuring the amazing work of my downline Kathy Sims? (She created a fantastic display using the Bird Ballad Suite), go check it out for more inspiration with this suite.

Does this look like summer fun to you? I am so excited to have some nice weather coming this week, it has been too rainy and cold. Do you like to watch birds? They are fascinating creatures. I have a pair of cardinals that have been visiting me often lately, and you know what they say about cardinals? A cardinal is a representative of a loved one who has passed. When you see one, it means they are visiting you. They usually show up when you most need them or miss them. They also make an appearance during times of celebration as well as despair to let you know they will always be with you. I find comfort in that, and know that watching birds can bring peace and joy after sorrow.

Well that’s it for me today. I would love to hear from you- I treasure your comments, it means the world to me to hear from you. Just scroll to the bottom of this post and leave me a comment, and then be sure to click the links below to see all the other fabulous creations from the Glitter & Glam Girls this month! I KNOW they have some over the top amazing projects for you!

Amazing Team Lynnzcrafters Event!

Have you ever had a vision and wondered how it would “ever” work? Well, let me tell you- don’t second guess yourself, step out of your comfort zone, and Go For It!

A few weeks ago Stampin’ Up!’s Northeast Demonstrator Development Manager (DDM), Jessica Werner, posted on our Facebook group that she was looking to attend some stamping events in the Northeast part of the US. I immediately thought of inviting her to my next team meeting, but it was so close to Easter that she had to decline. Then, I spoke to her about another idea I had when we were together at OnStage last month, and she loved the idea of coming to join me at my May team meeting!! I decided I wanted to focus on a “New Catalog Launch” with displays, Make and takes, stamping projects, food, fun, and fellowship to help those who were unable to go to OnStage and help them prepare to launch the new catalog to their customers.

Jessica Werner, Stampin’ Up! Northeast DDM

One thing I quickly realized, was there was no way I could pull this off on my own! Now, I have some incredibly talented and generous ladies on my team, but I wasn’t sure how to go about asking for their help… I shouldn’t have worried at all, for they truly stepped up in a HUGE way! You’ll see photos of their displays, Make and Takes, and an adorable door prize, which they all generously volunteered to help me with! Am I the luckiest girl in the world, or what? I mean, seriously- I didn’t have to twist anyone’s arm, beg or cry- they just offered! Bless you all, from the bottom of my heart! Lisa, Amye, Tiffany, Kathy, Laurie, MaryBeth and Susan- your displays, Make and Takes, and daisy treat pouch were all a huge hit and I’m so very thankful for your generosity and talents! You supported me in my vision, and I will forever be grateful for your time, efforts and skills! You inspired everyone in the room with your beautiful creations!

Amye Speirs (who also designed and organized the cute team shirts we’re wearing!)

I didn’t even tell them I’d be calling them up to the stage, just a small token of my appreciation in those cute bird bags. Thank you!!

Lisa Mackey, explaining her inspiration for the Come Sail Away display she created.

So speaking of the stage, it was all set up for the preschool graduation ceremony the next morning, and it was perfect for our use as well- a great vantage point up there!

Kathy Sims, my dear friend who created the Bird Ballad display, and was my right arm all night.
Tiffany Williams-Hart, who designed an amazing stamping project and prepared so everyone could make a beautiful card.

Laurie Kownack, broken foot and all, volunteered at the last minute to help me with one more display using the Magnolia Suite.

MaryBeth Pellerin who made the beautiful In Color Display.

Susan Williams Germain volunteered to make everyone an adorable daisy punched caramel chocolate treat! thanks Sue!

Team Lynnzcrafters with Jessica Werner

20 of my downline members attended this event, thank you ladies for attending and added thanks for those who helped bring snacks, beverages, ice, set up, registration, clean up, and Prize Patrol!

I’m so grateful for each of you!

These stamping friends are local and get together monthly as the Upstate Stampers Group. I had planned to have 30 stampers at this event, because that is how many I have on my team, but when spots opened up, I reached out to be sure we filled the room for Jessica’s long trip to visit us from Rhode Island.  I’m so thrilled that you were all able to attend! Thanks friends for coming to this event, and to those who brought treats, thank you!

Wendy volunteered to run the registration table, I charged $5 per person to cover the cost of the Prize Patrol items.

The room set up- food and beverages were at the back of the room. Everyone was mingling and snacking before we started.

These next few pictures show how the tables were set up- I followed my set up as I do for bingo- putting 6 people at each of 5 long tables. I asked 1 person to take the lead at each table to help rotate the stamping supplies in a clockwise rotation, cleaning off the stamps and help everyone complete the project at the their table. (It worked out well that everyone who prepared a Make and Take did all the big shot work in advance).

It just filled my heart to overflowing to have all these special ladies all together for this wonderful event.

Now, for this last section- I wanted to show you the amazing displays that my friends came up with, I know you are going to love all this inspiration!

Last but not least I had made a dozen cards to feature the Everything is Rosy special for May. I wanted to display these cards for my demo friends.

Well I think that is all for now, I will do another post with pictures of the five Make & Takes and swaps. I think I’ll save that for this weekend and will be back to share more.

I receive so much positive feedback about this event that I am thinking of doing another demonstrator only event to kick off either the Holiday catalog or the next Occasions catalog. I’m not really sure but I will keep you posted.

Thank you so much for reading this blog and just a reminder there are only a few days left to get the Everything is Rosy Product Medley.

My First Creative Christmas Crafty Retreat!

Hi there friends, I wanted to share photos of my first retreat I held yesterday at the Elks club lodge in Ballston Lake, New York.

Let me give you the backstory, part of the training program I have been a part of for almost 3 years, encourages us to hold a creative retreat. I wanted to see one in action before I tried it myself so back in August I went with my friend Elizabeth to go to Massachusetts to Selene Kempton’s retreat. I got a lot of great ideas and saw it in action, and while I was there everyone encouraged me to plan my own. With only one free Saturday on my calendar for the month of November I came home from Selene’s retreat eager to plan my first one. Everything came together and I feel so blessed. The day I had available was yesterday, Saturday, November 17, which was the 2nd anniversary of when my sweet mother went to heaven. I know she was with me and helped everything to go so smoothly.

I first invited my team, I have 30 downline that was my starting point. I knew I only wanted to have 30 people at my first one. Not everyone could attend so then I opened it up to some great friends who I thought would enjoy attending an all day event like this. I had 25 people pre-register, and unfortunately one was sick the day of the event but we made her all the projects.

I had these canvas tote bags made up as I wanted everyone to have something to take all their prizes in projects home in. Everyone received one package of the festive farmhouse Christmas DSP, the striped burlap ribbon, and a package of metallic pearls. My theme was farmhouse Christmas and I wanted everything to coordinate. When I was shopping on Amazon for the wood slice ornaments I even found a T-shirt to match my theme so I had to get it for myself.

I don’t know if you can see in this photo but there is a fabric coaster for under their hot cocoa mug that I made, the Santa scissor charm I made with Shrinky dink material (I cased from Carol Hickman), the wood slice ornament I had help from my friends/team Kara and Laurie, and you can see all the Stampin’ Up! products that were included in this event as well as all eight projects we made.

In the first two photos, the gift card holders, I modified these from the projects we made at Selenes’s retreat. I love the simple idea of decorating our gold striped bag, and our Kraft pillow boxes, I just used the farmhouse theme to spruce it up for my event.

In the third picture, I would like to thank my friend and downline Amye Speirs for designing that card for me.

The fourth photo, with the sled, I just cased the catalog.

The fifth photo with the mini tea light lantern, I modified the tutorial from Allison Okamitsu, and her blog is called Nice People Stamp, she’s a wonderful demonstrator from Canada and her directions were perfect. I just changed the paper and ribbon to match my theme.

The little joy stocking was from November 2017 paper pumpkin kit, unfortunately it’s sold out now but I bought a bunch back in September to use for this event.

The last two photos showcase our beautiful mini gable boxes one is in silver and the other is a shimmery white. I just created these two designs using the farmhouse DSP & wanted this to be fun treat holders, I had candy on every table that people could take to fill their little boxes.

I did not have very much money to spend on decorations after ordering all the supplies needed for these projects and the little goodie bags. So my wonderful sister-in-law Kathy loaned me all her farmhouse Decor so I could decorate the tables at check-in and where we ate our meals.

We had a little hot cocoa station, I had a lending library set up where people could borrow my stamps, dies, and punches as well as the big shot set up.

I rotated the projects to each table every half an hour so they could comfortably stay at their seat and I then returned all the projects to a table in the back if anybody arrived late and needed to go make their projects- they had the rest of the day to complete their projects.

Everyone received one raffle ticket for attending the event, I also gave raffle tickets every time they finished five projects they brought to work on, I gave one raffle ticket for each $10 they purchased from me from my retired table or my adhesives, or a catalog order they placed with me. Then I had five bundles of wonderful product and they put the raffle tickets inside the bag of the items they hope to win. I also sold raffle tickets individually, or an arm length for $20. I drew the winners at about 8 PM,  Kara won the Stamparatus, Jessica won the farmhouse Christmas bundle, Amye won the alpine snow Bundle, Jackie won the Snow is Glistening bundle, and Linda won the Winter Woods bundle. I used all the hostess rewards, and my commission on the sale of all the products I ordered for this event as the prizes.

I arranged for my wonderful friend Wendy to come and do chair massages, 19 people enjoyed a relaxing massage, poor Wendy was exhausted after four hours, I am so thankful she was able to come and I know everyone enjoyed their massage! Thanks friend! 😘

I have to say the food was delicious, and I’m so thankful to Mike Bloss from the Clifton Park Elks, what a fantastic job he did and we really enjoyed the spread for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I only remembered to take pictures of the lunch buffet but the set up was the same. It was really nice to get up from our crafting table to go to the lunch table.

It just warms my heart to see this room full of special ladies who came out and supported me with my first retreat, everyone shared an 8 foot table, and we had them all near the walls so they could plug in their lights or electronics.

I had some ordering specials for my attendees, and will be placing their orders today. I also still need to unpack my car and now get ready for bingo next week. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who attended, all my helpers, most especially my team for joining Lynnzcrafters and coming out to this event yesterday!

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post today, I would love to hear from you! What was your favorite project? Would you like to attend an event like this? This was a 12 hour day, we were open from 9 AM to 9 PM… Although we did close up a little early last night everyone was fatiguing myself included.

Please leave me a comment, I am going to do a giveaway I have an extra canvas bag from this event and I will send it to one lucky winner who leaves a comment on this post by Wednesday 11/21 at 6 PM.

My stamp set that I choose for our hop is a brand new one, we received it as a free gift for attending OnStage back in April and I just love playing with it. It’s called Animal Outings.  I decided to pair this month’s theme with a new fancy fold card I recently learned how to make, called “The Impossible Card” (because to the naked eye, it’s impossible to figure out how the center piece of card stock was created).

Today is the day our new 2018–19 Annual Catalog goes live, click the picture above and it will take you to the online version. (ordering online will be available at noon Mountain time, that is 2 PM here on the East Coast)

Ready to learn how to make this impossible card? Start with a piece of card stock that is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ (here I used crumb cake):

Do you see on the photo above how it looks like a goal post?

you can make a small pencil mark 1/2″ from each end, and scored down 2 1/8″.

then from the 2 3/4″ mark on bottom length, score up to the 2 1/8″ mark. I think the photo helps more than anything.

then cut your three vertical lines (the goal post base and 2 ends) as shown above.

As you can see, when you cut on the score lines, the center panel will pop up. see photo above.

So here’s how it becomes an “impossible card”, just flip one of the side panels backwards! Tada! See that? Not so hard at all, really it’s a simple card that you can make look amazing with whatever stamps or embellishments you want to add.

Next is to cut some decorative designer series paper panels to spruce up the card. I went with something that was from the Share What You Love suite- this is the back of the blue floral paper.

I decided to trace my opening, and then trim down an 1/8″ so it becomes a perfect top layer on my two side panels.

The black strip is a stabilizer for the card, it is 1″ x 5 1/2″ long.

I decided to use the blends to color my giraffe and leaves and frog- this card would be so cute for a variety of occasions. the corner sentiment was from a stamp set I won during Prize Patrol at OnStage in April. Was happy to use it here.

Punched out some leaves in garden green to make it look like the jungle and added another piece in very vanilla over the top so I could stamp a name or personalized greeting.

This piece measure 3/4″ x 5 1/4″

Assemble and voila! What do you think of my Impossible Card?? I would love to hear your comments, scroll down below to see what my June Comment Contest Giveaway will be!

2017-18 Annual Catalog, BOGO, card making, Kids crafts, New Catalog Launch, New In-Colors, Punch art, scrapbooking, Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Online Ordering Hostess Code, Stamps on Sale

It’s BOGO Time!!

Hi everyone!

I’m thrilled to announce that my team and I are planning our next Lynnzcrafters BOGO (Buy One Get One) free Sale of our Retired Stampin’ Up! products!

Mark your calendar- it is on Saturday June 17th from 9 am to Noon

Location: Inside the Burnt Hills United Methodist Church- 816 Route 50, Burnt Hills, NY 12027 (this is across from Gil’s Garage).

There will be 7 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators selling their retired Stampin’ Up! products: stamps, ink pads, ink refills, punches, sizzix dies, card stock, designer series paper, 12×12″ scrapbooking supplies, project life by Stampin’ Up!, ribbons, buttons, embellishments, tools and much more!!

Our BOGO sale is different from others, here’s how it works:

  • You shop around the room (might want to bring a canvas tote/shopping bag) and pick out all the items you want to buy.
  • You go to the check out counter, where the fabulous Amye will calculate your total and give you a tracking sheet and order form.
  • You go to the catalog table and fill out the order form and pick out all new products from the 2017-18 Annual Catalog as you “free” items.
  • Go back to checkout and Amye will collect your payment and confirm your order (we will add tax and shipping on just the “new”).
  • Anyone living outside the immediate Burnt Hills or Glenville area will have their items shipped directly to them (this is a $6.95 shipping charge, but so worth it to get your orders quickly).
  • Free catalog to anyone who spends at least $25 at our sale that day.
  • Free gift (choice of items donated by the demonstrators in the sale- at the “gift table” such as cards, ribbons, 3D objects, etc) for paying in cash (this really helps us at the end of the day to divide up the orders)… but we of course accept checks and credit cards as well!
  • Free gift (choice from gift table) for orders over $50

On behalf of Amye, Tiffany, Laurie, Sharon, Brigid, Valerie and myself- we thank you for sharing our event, telling all your crafty friends, and your wanna-be crafty friends. Hey- bring the kids, since it’s almost summer break, they’ll need some Arts and Crafts goodies to keep them busy once school’s out.

Hope to see you on June 17th!

thanks so much and have a great day!

Creative Inking “Color My World” Blog Hop

ccbh-image

Hello Friends,

Thank you for joining us for the February Blog Hop of the Creative Inking team- a wonderful group of all Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. These ladies are just fabulous… be sure to click “Hop this way to the Next Blog” icon at the bottom of this post, and then on all the other blog posts- you will be amazed at the talent in this group!! A few of our regular members are off this month, but we have 8 amazing blogs for you to check out, and hopefully find some inspiration!

When I first saw the theme “Color My World”, I instantly thought of our new watercolor pencils! I absolutely LOVE them! In fact- they have proven to be more popular than Stampin’ Up! predicted, as they’ve flown off the shelves. So, in case you don’t have the pencils, I wanted to also show you some simple water-coloring with our inks.

First up is a birthday card I made for my dear dad:

The base is made with tempting turquoise card stock (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″). I used silver foil specialty 12″x 12″ paper cut down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and embossed it in the new hexagon textured impressions embossing folder (tip: only use 1 cutting pad as this is a super thick folder). I used a strip of Party Animal Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the sentiments are from Big On Birthdays (page 6 from the Occasions Catalog).  I used the hammer from the “Nailed It” bundle on page 48 of the Occasions Catalog (you have to LOVE coordinating dies!) on watercolor paper with the watercolor pencils and aqua painter. Dad loved his card! (I had a big family dinner last night to celebrate my dad).

Next up, this trio I made with the Tuscan Vineyard set from page 95 of the Annual Catalog:

This card was water colored with the watercolor pencils on very vanilla card stock. The accent colors are old olive and rich razzleberry.

This card (and the next one) were made with our crumb cake note cards and I colored very lightly with elegant eggplant ink, the stamping was done in crumb cake and elegant eggplant.

This one is my favorite from my little trio, I water-colored with garden green and elegant eggplant ink. The “thanks” is from Cottage Greetings. These were fun and simple to color and put together. Great to make up a bunch and have on hand for thank you card when you need them!

I hope my post inspired you to try some water-coloring! I would love to hear from you, I treasure your comments! Thanks.

They’re Here! The New 2017 Occasions and SAB Catalogs!

Hello friends! Today is a very exciting day! Our new 2017 Occasions (aka “Spring”) Catalog and the 2017 Sale-a-Bration Catalog have launched today!! It is the most “wonderful” time of the year as Stampin’ Up! begins their generous rewards program to customers, hostesses, and demonstrators! My side bar has the new catalogs, or if you see a product below that you like, feel free to click it, and it will take you directly to my online store.

*Sorry if you were trying to get to my online store earlier today, Stampin’ Up! had an unexpected server issue that took hours to fix, it didn’t have anything to do with volume either, those poor IT folks, I can’t image how stressed out they must feel, hope they can feel cyber hugs from NY.

I’ve decided to also apply to become a “display stamper” for the next OnStage which I will be attending in Toronto, Canada (it’s the closest location from where I live in Upstate New York). So this blog post is created with the projects required for the application, and they are all New 2017 products, so I thought you would enjoy this post.

The first requirement is 3 Standard size greeting cards, I decided to showcase the awesome new Valentine’s products:

Can you see the wink of stella shining on that little wooden heart?

This time I first colored the wooden heart with real red marker, then added a touch of Wink of Stella for some more shimmer.

Now on to the scrapbook pages, I have been a huge fan of Project Life, the simple and easy memory keeping system by Becky Higgins… and am soooo thrilled that she partnered with Stampin’ Up! with some exclusive items just for us (not found in any store!). I can’t count how many albums I have made over the years, but I can say this is the best way to get photos in albums the quickest! (If you made a New Year’s Resolution to document your travels, family memories, special occasions and holidays- or hey, if you just want an album of your pets- that’s fine too!) I’m here to help you… In fact- stay tuned, I have some new classes coming up next month that will help you get your photos in albums too!

Now here’s what it looks like inside the albums:

Last, but not least, the application for OnStage asks for two 3-D items:

This easel stand 2017 calendar was fun to make! Don’t you just love the colors in this gorgeous new Designer series paper? it is called “Carried Away” and it coordinates beautifully with the Lift me Up Bundle in the new Occasions Catalog, but this paper is a FREE Sale-a-bration item with your $50 purchase- I love it!

And lastly, my second 3D project is an 8×10″ Love themed framed art piece, what do you think of my color palette? I love Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Whisper White together, do you?

Thank you sooo much for stopping by my blog tonight! If you’re on Facebook, don’t forget my New Catalog Launch Party at 8 pm Central Time- hope to see you over there, here’s a link:
