Monthly Bingo nights, Monthly Stamping Clubs, Monthly Team Get-Togethers, and opportunities for Workshops and Classes offered in your home or mine! (think of paint and sip, or board and brush, I can offer the same kind of party for you and your friends!) Think of me for Birthday Parties, Kid Crafts, baby and bridal showers, weddings, and special anniversaries or parties where you need customized invitations or decorations!
Today is a BIG day for all of us who Love Stampin’ Up! The 2020 Spring Catalog goes LIVE and the Sale A Bration begins!! Hopefully, you’ve received a catalog in the mail. If you’d like one, just let me know and I’ll get one out to you!
This year Stampin’ Up! has marvelous new stamps, papers, embellishments, and a punch to coordinate with one of the stamp sets! You receive 1 free item per $50 you spend, and there are a few items at “level 2” which means they count as two selections, or can be your free item with a purchase over $100.
I’ve updated my side bar with the new catalogs, but here they are for you:
New this year, the reward for hosting a qualifying party (or order) over $300 is this Free Lady Bug Stamp Set:
*Guess what? Next month as part of our Coordination Release of new products- there will be DIES to cut these cute images out! How cool?@!
I must tell you about the very best deal during Sale A Bration- The Starter Kit!!
During Sale A Bration 2020,
you get quite a bit for the $99 price tag:
1. Choose $125 in product from the Annual or Spring catalog
2. Free Mini Trimmer
3. Free Designer Series paper sample pack (see photo above)
4. One more stamp set of your choice!( Go ahead, pick the most expensive set on your wishlist!)
5. Free Shipping!!
Did you know that when you purchase the Starter Kit, you actually earn a 20% discount off EVERY purchase for the next 3 months? In fact, it’s actually longer than three months. If you purchase the Starter Kit in January, you actually have until the end of June to take full advantage of that discount on all Stampin’ Up products!
What’s In A Starter Kit?
Anything you want! Yes, REALLY! For just $99 (FREE SHIPPING too!!) you choose up to $125 of ANYTHING in the Spring Catalog, Annual Catalog or even off the Clearance Rack! Plus, as I mentioned above, you get the Mini Trimmer, DSP Sample Pack and one more stamp set of your choice.
What’s the Catch?
There is NO catch! I know, sometimes, we think there is something hidden that we don’t find out until after we purchase the kit. But here, truly there is no catch! The only requirement to remain an active Demo is a quarterly minimum. And as a new Demo, you actually have until the following quarter to meet it (June 30!) And what if you don’t meet it? You just become a customer again and lose the discount. That’s it! But, I have a feeling you will love the benefits so much that you will never want to let that happen!
Do I have to have a blog, make videos or hold classes?
Nope. Again, this is what you want it to be. If you want to purchase the Starter Kit just to enjoy the discount- great! You are what I like to think of as a “preferred customer.” You get all the benefits but don’t have to actually run a business. But, if you want to run a business, you can! And I’m here to help guide you with that if you want.
What Are the Benefits?
The biggest benefit, in my opinion, is that you become a Lynnzcrafter! That’s the name of my team and we are growing with leaps and bounds! My team is spread out throughout the Capital District Region of New York, and we have some Floridians as well! So, we do lots of things in person and some things online… We swap monthly, we have creative challenges, we have celebrations! But the best part is- we support each other! Many of my team have chosen to make a business out of their Starter Kit and many have chosen to support their hobby with a discount. I welcome ALL new demos to my team regardless of why they purchase the Starter Kit.
Official List of Benefits:
20% discount
Potential to earn up to 38% of your sales
Early and exclusive access to new products
Opportunity to earn free product through various incentives
Qualify for cash bonuses, free product, incentive trips and more

Hi friends, how are you doing today? I just had my quarterly rewards day for the top 4 in sales, and I also added promotions to this fun day! (anyone on my team who promotes to a new title will be invited to the next one, and so on). Congrats to Amye, Lisa, Tiffany, Diane and Kathy on all your hard work in your Stampin’ Up! businesses last quarter!!
The girls arrived at noon and we enjoyed a delicious salad bar and macaroni and cheese bar for lunch. Shout out to my brother Scott, the chef, and my sister-in-law Kathy who helped me pull off this fabulous meal! We had lobster, bacon, chicken, broccoli, two extra cheeses, and peppers to mix in the macaroni and cheese!
I like to find unique gifts to give them and for this Way to go day they each got a sparkly pen, bloom planner, and adorable teacup.
Then we went upstairs to the craft room and we had four activities to create, everyone made a custom stamped piece of jewelry, with their perfect word. (Be Open, Laugh, Breathe, Patience and Joey were the words they picked). My word of the year for 2019 is Peace, loved making this fun bracelet.
For the paper crafts (using all new Stampin’ Up! products from the Occasions and Saleabration Catalogs) we made a belly band for a Baker’s box, a hand stamped card, and we decorated around tin that we filled with round teabags. I was going with a tea theme, as you can probably tell, and I showed the girls how to master no line water coloring. This is a technique I am going to cover on my Facebook live event tomorrow at noon Eastern standard time, I hope you will tune in!
The Bakers box is going to come in useful as they needed something to take home their delicious cookies in!
As if that wasn’t fun enough, I had a big surprise for the girls and I hired a professional pastry chef, she is the new chef at Dolce and Biscotti in Clifton Park. (My friend Patty had her at an event in December and when I saw the photos on Facebook, I knew I wanted to do the same). Jennifer Gates is her name and she did a phenomenal job and taught us how to decorate shortbread cookies with royal icing. So much fun, thanks Jennifer!!
Honestly this was so much fun and I can’t believe all the hard work Jennifer put into preparing for us…. she baked all the cookies and made the frosting in advance and taught us the art of cookie decorating. So much fun! ❤️ I had sent Jennifer a link to my blog and Facebook page and she found this cute owl cookie cutter and taught us how to decorate an owl cookie as well as the Valentines themed ones.
Does this sound like fun to you? I would love to welcome you onto my team and I am here to help you grow your business and maybe you will earn one of my quarterly rewards days! I am always here to help.
If you have any questions about any of the Stampin’ Up! pproducts I used, please let me know and I would be happy to share the item numbers or page numbers. I so appreciate you when you order from me, I am really grateful for your loyalty and support!
Thank you so much for stopping by to visit my blog today! I hope you have a fabulous weekend.

Hi everyone! I have REALLY MISSED you! When I looked back at my last post it was on February first, good grief! I’m sorry I’ve been away for sooooo long! I have to admit, February was challenging…I ended up getting the flu and had to reschedule many of my monthly stamping clubs due to illness and due to all the snow storms! I also changed jobs last week and wanted to be sure I was fresh and well rested, so I haven’t been staying up late to create projects or do all my normal monthly blog hops. AND, as if all that’s not enough, last week two close family members had surgery! Please keep my sister Sue and sister-in-law Kathy in your prayers. They are home recovering, but it will be a long road to healing.
So, one of the things I had to reschedule was my monthly team get together. We met the other night and I wanted to share with you the awesome swaps from this talented group, as well as my Make-and-Take projects. Enjoy! Let me know if you have any questions, I would LOVE to hear from you! I treasure every one of your comments!
Without further ado, here are the wonderful cards, and the name of who created them- aren’t they talented??!! Love these ladies!
Tiffany’s card features the adorable stamp set called “Message in a Bottle”:
Joan’s card features stunning Petal Palette bundle and gorgeous gold foil sheets:
Amye’s card also features the pretty Petal Palette bundle, and she colored with her blends (our alcohol markers):
Kara’s card was made using the manly Truly Tailored bundle and True Gentleman designer series paper:
Kathy’s card was made with the very versatile Hanging Garden stamp set and colored with our blends also:
Laurie’s card features one of our fabulous Sale-a-Bration offerings, Lots of Lavender stamp set and coloring with our awesome blends markers:
Sheila’s card features the adorable Party Panda stamp set and the Bubbles & Fizz designer series paper (both of these items are Sale-a-bration offerings- either one is free with a $50 purchase), love that fussy cutting:
Last but not least, my swap card that I made features our brand new stamp set we launched 2 weeks ago for the last stretch of Sale-a-bration called Blossoming Basket, which is actually part of a bundle that includes the beautiful Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (together these two items are free with a $100 purchase), I water-colored using our aquapainters and reinkers (I diluted them a little bit), what do you think of the Peek-a-boo Peach and Daffodil Delight color combo?? Makes me long for spring!
This is a cute little gift Kara brought me, she made this amazing box (I think she called it the never-ending-box) the lid does not come off, but you pull it up, and it opens so you can remove what is inside- she put some Hershey’s kisses in there for me, how thoughtful?? It was such a surprise and I just adore this little handmade gift, thanks Kara! (I’m totally intimidated about these kind of projects, but she said it wasn’t “too hard”… maybe I’ll try it sometime).
Well, that’s it for today, I have some other cards and projects I will share with you over the next few days… I’m also going to try to get back to the 4 monthly blog hops that I’m involved in… I miss hopping with those talented people. It’s always so inspiring.

When I first saw the theme “Color My World”, I instantly thought of our new watercolor pencils! I absolutely LOVE them! In fact- they have proven to be more popular than Stampin’ Up! predicted, as they’ve flown off the shelves. So, in case you don’t have the pencils, I wanted to also show you some simple water-coloring with our inks.
First up is a birthday card I made for my dear dad:
The base is made with tempting turquoise card stock (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″). I used silver foil specialty 12″x 12″ paper cut down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and embossed it in the new hexagon textured impressions embossing folder (tip: only use 1 cutting pad as this is a super thick folder). I used a strip of Party Animal Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the sentiments are from Big On Birthdays (page 6 from the Occasions Catalog). I used the hammer from the “Nailed It” bundle on page 48 of the Occasions Catalog (you have to LOVE coordinating dies!) on watercolor paper with the watercolor pencils and aqua painter. Dad loved his card! (I had a big family dinner last night to celebrate my dad).
Next up, this trio I made with the Tuscan Vineyard set from page 95 of the Annual Catalog:
This card was water colored with the watercolor pencils on very vanilla card stock. The accent colors are old olive and rich razzleberry.
This card (and the next one) were made with our crumb cake note cards and I colored very lightly with elegant eggplant ink, the stamping was done in crumb cake and elegant eggplant.
This one is my favorite from my little trio, I water-colored with garden green and elegant eggplant ink. The “thanks” is from Cottage Greetings. These were fun and simple to color and put together. Great to make up a bunch and have on hand for thank you card when you need them!
I hope my post inspired you to try some water-coloring! I would love to hear from you, I treasure your comments! Thanks.
