Thanks so much for your nice comments and emails yesterday, I really appreciate hearing from you, and YES, I will keep sharing the recipes. People wanted to know the Stampin’ Up! ingredients for the two other club cards I shared yesterday, so here you go! I think this card would be great for someone going off to college, moving, starting a new job, getting married, or even a birthday. What do you think? Remember, this is a card I cased from a talented stamper named Heidi…. from Pinterest, where I lose more hours per week than I’d like to admit… 😉

Everyone seemed to really love the Dear Heart stamp set- and as a tip, these stamps are small enough we didn’t need the foam pad like other bigger Photopolymer stamps.

Also- I am adding two additional photos to show you some ways my awesome club ladies changed up the cards (I always want my stamping friends to make the card work for them, I have alternate sentiments and always want them to go home loving their card!)

Good morning friends! Can you tell I’ve been burning the midnight oil? I have been stamping every night this week (and all weekend last weekend) and I have so many ideas, projects and exciting new cards to share with you- I’m practically bursting at the seams! This card is a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from Pinterest by a stamper named Heidi- thanks so much for the inspiration! I always let my stampers change the greetings, if they want, this card would be perfect for someone going off to college, or a birthday, get well, thinking of you, and many more occasions!

How cute? Thanks Jan and Ron! Do you recognize the little flower treat holder? My sister, niece and friend Amye made these as my 50th birthday party favors, love them!! And Jan, I love your interpretation of a new way to use the awesome stamp set “Work of Art”- demonstrators received this stamp set free when we attended the new catalog movie premiere party back in April, and boy am I loving all the awesome cards and projects you can make with this new set. The possibilities are endless!

I know I promised you a newsletter, but I am still looking for space to do a large event- a Stamp Camp type event- with a Stamp-a-Stack theme… I have tons of ideas and not enough room in my craft room to pull them off. Valentine’s Bash was a Blast!

I forgot to show you pictures from our fun Valentine’s Day Bash on Monday! (I’m sorry to admit, I’m getting more forgetful).

I had a full house here- for me that is 8 stampers in my craft room. But I forgot to take photos of the second table, they made the cards and treat holder first, and I didn’t get any action shots of them. Sorry Amy, Tatiana, Amy and Mary Beth! (Remind me next time, unless you’re camera shy).

We really had a blast making these banners! I’m sorry to say they are not a current item. I did stock up on some banner kits in December before they went away from the Holiday Catalog.
I probably should have ordered more, dare I hope they make it into the new catalog in June???

I’m thinking of doing a “SPRING” banner class, what do you think? Would you be interested? Trying to figure out future banner classes (and other classes).

Stamping with Seniors… simple Stampin’ Up!

Hi there stamping friends! I hope you had a great weekend!

What do you think of these simple cards? I am doing an event at a local senior citizen residence next weekend, to see if seniors like to stamp! My BFF’s grandmother recently moved in there, and I saw their activities line up and thought, “hum, I bet they’d like Arts-and-Crafts”! So, I’m going to give it a whirl.

I’m planning to bring all kinds of rubber stamps, ink pads and our note cards/envelopes. I’m going to let them each make 2 cards this first time. I’ll find out what they like, and see if they would like to step it up next time… I just need to be careful of the level of fine motor involvment, or be sure to have helpers with me.
