Welcome to our 5 new Lynnzcrafters!

WOWZA! I can hardly believe the good fortune that has occurred! This week while Stampin’ Up! offered their “Short and Sweet Deal” on the starter kit, my team and I were busy planting seeds (“Wouldn’t you like to save money?” or “wouldn’t you like to have some fun stamping sisters?” or my favorite “would you consider helping me out?”) I am beyond thrilled to announce that we have 5 new team mates aboard this week! Congratulations to Molly who has recruited two people, welcome Ashley and Debora! Wendy has also recruited and I’d like to officially welcome Joan! and I was fortunate to have two friends, almost within minutes of each other, both sign up- many thanks to Amy D and Sheila!!

I am going to sit down this weekend and type up a team newsletter and calendar of all our events that are planned for the rest of the year to help you out. Also looking at planning some more stamping get togethers and team meetings to help everyone learn the ropes.

I also want to thank my awesome team: Jamie, Amye, Judy, Wendy, Tiffany, and Molly for helping to put on another fun stamping night Wednesday in Rotterdam (I think we need to come up with a name for our little get togethers there- anyone have any ideas??) The projects were super fun and we had a great turnout for the last hurrah of summer!

as you can see, we enjoyed some treats at this one, as we surprised Judy with a little birthday celebration. The ladies enjoyed making 3 cards, 5 gift tags and a cute box to put them all in. There was so much excitement in the room, it was great to listen to friends chat and catch up, stamp and giggle together. I love that the most about stamping!

 

Well yesterday the 2014 Holiday Catalog officially launched, and boy are you in for a treat! We are going to be having lots of classes, events and stamping parties to get you all ready for this wonderful season. If you want to know the truth, I was very insecure about joining SU almost 6 years ago… my friends “twisted my arm” and thought I would be great. Truth is, anyone can be a demonstrator- there is no prerequisite or experience with crafting needed. You don’t need to be a techy or an expert on ANYTHING, that is the joy of Stampin’ Up! No obligations, just do what you want, when you can. It is a NO PRESSURE position. I am never going to crack the whip (nor will anyone at SU)- unlike many other Direct Sales Companies. I’m happy to say SU is debt free, has been going strong for over 26 years and I plan to be here until I can’t stamp anymore! So if you’ve even thought about it, I’d like to talk to you- maybe help alleviate any fears you might have. No hard feelings if you drop- we’ll still be friends- on that you can count on!!

Blendabilities Alcohol Markers are now available!  I am so excited the wait is over! My July club ladies are going to enjoy coloring with these awesome new markers!!

Earlier this spring, Stampin Up allowed demonstrators to purchase the Blendabilities Alcohol Markers on pre-release. I love these markers and I must say, they are really fabulous as well as cost friendly. When I compared them to other alcohol markers I was very impressed.

Blendabilities are dual tipped one end is a fine point and the other is a brush tip, the colors are vibrant and rich, Stampin Up has pulled out all the stops with this one.

Stampin Up has equipped the Blendabilities with the best features of other markers into one marker. They have also taken the guess work out of trying to find like color shades that will allow me to get that progressive blend from dark to light or light to dark.

With the Blendabilities you will get 3 coordinating shades of one color for each color group. What Sets Them Apart:

Hi there Stamping Friends! I hope you are all doing well! I know I promised you a newsletter, but I am still looking for space to do a large event- a Stamp Camp type event- with a Stamp-a-Stack theme… I have tons of ideas and not enough room in my craft room to pull them off. I really need YOUR input… where would you like to see me offer this event? Glenville, Saratoga, Colonie, Niskayuna, Albany, Ballston Spa, Burnt Hills, Schenectady?? Please leave me a comment if you’d like to attend this event, and which town would be best for you. (the projects will be similar to the Diva Day cards and totes I shared on my last post).

Here are some cards I spruced up from my retired cards/products box, and these cards will be going in my card rack for sale this Saturday at the Relay For Life Cancer Fundraiser at the Saratoga Springs Holiday Inn, 4/19 from 9 am to 4 pm. Don’t forget: FREE Admission & Fun for the Whole Family,  Get your picture taken with The Easter Bunny!  Over 40 Vendor will be in attendance!  More than $400 worth of prizes to be raffled off.  Face Painting!

April Diva Day was Divine!

Good morning friends!
Yesterday was such a blast! I had my club ladies in the morning (you saw those cards yesterday), thanks for the yummy cinnamon scones Patty, they were a delicious morning treat. And speaking of treats, thanks for the chocolate dipped peeps Amye, I don’t know if Claire and Ethan’s will make it until Easter, lol. You gals are so sweet! thanks!

After my club, I headed up to Ballston Spa because I earned another Diva Day with my upline Deb Valder! You know me by now, I love to earn free Stampin’ Up! products, who doesn’t, right? Thanks so much Deb!
Well look at all the goodies we earned and the great projects we made!! Deb designed this 31 Bag knock-off, how adorable is this?? We used the Modern Medley DSP and the Springtime Hello stamp set on all 6 cards. It was a lot of fun, and I think the pictures say it all:

I just loved this little 31 bag knock-off!! Do you know a 31 Bag Rep who might like me to make some of these for her hostess gifts? The inside has nice finished edges, this bag will be perfect for gift giving- and handmade cards fit very nicely inside!!

All six cards are unique and different- and we didn’t put any sentiments inside, perfect for when you need a card in a hurry!
