Creative Inking Blog Hop Sneak Peek of 2018-19 Catalog!

Hi Everyone and Welcome to our monthly Blog Hop! This month the Creative Inking Team are showcasing projects using all new items from the Stampin’ Up! 2018-19 Annual Catalog (it launches on June 1st, 2018!) I have to admit, when I got my hands on this catalog back in April at OnStage, I thought to myself “best catalog ever!” and then some of my downline said the same thing to me! I know YOU will LOVE it too!

I really wanted to show off the new In Colors to you and a bundle that I was so excited to get my hands on called varied vases and it has a coordinating punch!

The red is called lovely lipstick in the yellow is called pineapple punch and I think these two colors are so gorgeous together and we even have matching DSP stack.

Here is the inside of my card. A perfect little birthday card for that special someone. This bundle was created for Mary Fish, in honor of her milestone- $1 million in sales! When that happens, Stampin’ Up! brings the demonstrator to their home office in Utah and they get to help create a stamp set and possibly coordinating products.

I also want to share project that we did today at a demonstrator get together. The super talented Jacqueline Litts created these gorgeous frames for us and we decorated them with the new products from the Share What You Love Suite. Thank you so much for hosting our get together today Jacqueline, and thank you so much for this wonderful gift it looks beautiful in my craft room! Friends, you only have a few more days to get this at a bundle price and receive free gifts from Stampin’ Up!

Well, that is it for today from me, I really appreciate your stopping by for a visit, and I treasure each of your comments! Leave a comment below to be entered into my new Comment Contest– each month I will be tallying up all those who leave me a comment on any of my blog posts, and use the hashtag: #lynnzcrafters  (before or after your comment). I will select one winner at random, I will contact you for your address, then I will send you a small package of goodies.   You have until May 31st to leave me a new comment. Here is a photo of what the contents are for my May goodie bag:

Creative Inking Blog Hop- April Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone! welcome to the April Creative Inking Hop- we are thrilled to bring you an array of Stampin’ Up! stamps, inks, papers, and embellishments and we are trying our first Sketch Challenge. I can’t wait to see what everyone else comes up with this month! Also, a very warm welcome to our two new demonstrators to join our hop- please welcome Renee Kohnke and Michelle Irinyi to the Creative Inking Crew!

Here is the sketch we are all using as our inspiration:

When we were given this sketch last month, I was knee deep in my supply box from Stampin’ Up! for being an OnStage presenter for our Product Purchase Premiere. I was given the Nature’s Poem bundle and suite of products. It was so nice to work with the sketch to design some fun cards. I used the new Rooted in Nature clear mount stamp set, Nature’s Roots Framelits Dies, and Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper as well. Which one do you like better?

I love how beautiful all our metallic foil paper, thread and doilies work with this suite.

Notice anything about these colors? I’m so thrilled to welcome Blackberry Bliss back to our color family! It was an In Color a few years ago, but it is making a come back in our Regals Collection! I am so excited about our Color Revamp! We are retiring many outdated colors and shaking things up a bit. Wait until you see them in real life- all the new colors are vibrant. Notice the light colored leaf in the DSP above? that is a new In Color called Grapefruit Grove! I love these two colors together! Notice how the leaves are cut and embossed? The framelits die set includes dies for both cutting and embossing all the trees and leaves! No more fussy cutting! You will be able to get your hands on this bundle starting June 1st if you’re a customer. If you want to sign up to be a demonstrator, you can pick these colors/items in your new starter kit starting on May 2nd. So many choices!

My second card with this sketch features the same bundle and suite of products, just went with my other favorite returning color- Mint Macaron!! This was seriously the hardest secret to keep since I received my box! In this card I’ve paired the mint macaron with tranquil tide, soft suede and copper foil and copper metallic thread. I also used Petal Burst Texture Impression Embossing Folder after I stamped some leaves on the card stock to give it some added dimension. (so glad all these products are staying with us!) What do you think?

I think I might frame this card and use it for daily inspiration. You see I’m going to start the Whole30 eating lifestyle plan on Monday. Tomorrow is my birthday, and as I turn the chapter to age 54, I just want to feel healthier, and have more energy. Some friends are doing this plan with me, and I’ve talked to others who have tried it… it is an elimination diet of sorts- you cut out flour, grains, sugar, dairy, soy, legumes, alcohol, and other “trigger” foods and ingredients that are known to cause inflammation and bloat, you eliminate it for 30 days. Then slowly, careful reintroduce one thing at a time, evaluating how you feel, to see if you can figure out your triggers. I know I am too dependent on sweets, and want to just purge it all at once. Just cleaned out my house/pantry/fridge/freezer and will be shopping tomorrow to stock up on all the good stuff. Wish me luck! I’ll need to be very strong, resist lots of temptations in the next month. If you want to know more, or see how I’m doing, let me know!

Creative Inking Heartfelt Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! Welcome to our Creative Inking Team Blog Hop! I’m thrilled to be hopping with these 9 talented ladies, I have learned so many awesome techniques, tips and tricks from everyone here, and I know you will too! This month our theme is “Heartfelt Greetings and Gifts” and I am excited to show you some sweet projects featuring our new line up from the 2018 Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Catalogs.

I wanted to first show off one of the cards we made at my Stamping Bingo night last week, featuring the brand new stamp set called “Heartfelt Blooms” from our Sale-a-bration catalog! (that means it’s free with a $50 purchase)… scroll down to bottom of this post for supply list, links and more info about how to earn free products!

I always like to feature cards that require no big-shot so my bingo ladies can sit and create and enjoy their night. This card was made with crumb cake ink pad, and then we used a sponge dauber to add some featured colors (daffodil delight, pear pizzazz, and powder pink ink). Super easy, and a quick card to make.

I had planned to show you all the projects from bingo, and the prizes, but we had our big BOGO sale today, and then I had my club make up class (from snow storm last week) and totally ran out of time. Come back another day to see the rest of my bingo offerings.

Holiday Gift Ideas with the Creative Inking Bloggers!

Hello there friends! Thank you for joining us on another blog hop with these amazing Stampin’ Up! demonstrators! This month, we have 10 fabulous participants, to “hop” along and see all their work, just click the icons at the bottom with the cute bunny- and “click” the “next” button to hop forward… it will take you to each one. I am so excited about the theme this month- Holiday Gift Ideas, and I just couldn’t wait to share some ideas with you! (And how perfect that today launches our Online Extravaganza– a special week long sale, with some awesome stamp sets available today only… scroll to bottom for a complete list!)

First, I wanted to show you this adorable hot cocoa gift– perfect use for those test tubes!

How sweet is this? I just love how this finished product came out- who would you give this to?? I’m thinking this would make a great teacher, bus driver, coach, co-worker, neighbor, mail carrier, and friend gift.

In case you wonder where to find this super cute mini mini marshmallow bits- they are in the hot cocoa isle (not where other marshmallows were at my local store). The little mini silver spoons are from the Dollar General store- just a great finish to this “gift”. (sorry about the mess in the background- I totally meant to crop that out!)

This is one of the projects we made tonight at my Stamping Bingo event, I was thrilled to have such a great response to this “Ugly Christmas Sweater” themed event. Be sure to stop back tomorrow to see all my bingo pictures!

This is a sweet little gift I featured at my last Girl Scout Troop meeting. The girls voted and wanted to learn about Book Making. (there is a badge for that! lol). They love time in the craft room and I taught them the hot glue gun binding technique. They each made a different cover, the inside pages are thick sketch book/artists paper so they can color and their work won’t seep through). I explained that these are inexpensive gifts they could make for their family members for gifts next month. (I did use some retired DSP and ribbon above).

Here is the complete flyer with all the items included in our Online Extravaganza Sale! Don’t forget that there are items on sale today only- those specials end at Midnight!

You can either click this image (note- this version has all the French stamp sets on the list).

Or click here and open the list I created- and note I removed all the French items.

I have been using these amazing papers in all of my classes and clubs this month- so my customers can see how versatile these amazing papers are!

This card was one we did last month at my Stamp-a-Stack. I love the “Be Merry” Designer Series Paper, those mittens are super cute. I never had a chance to use Santa’s sleigh dies last year- was super glad it carried over to the Annual Catalog, it is so stinkin cute!

How cute are the little reindeer on this DSP? (this is from “Be Merry” as well!)

I love that Stampin’ Up! included the Painted Harvest DSP from the Holiday Catalog in this sale too! Every piece in this pack is stunning, and looks amazing with any greeting!

Delightful Daisy DSP and bundle are still a favorite and look amazing any time of year. How sweet and simple is this card?

Creative Inking-Two Step Stamping Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to our July Blog Hop with a great group of 10 Stampin’ Up! demonstrators! I’m sure you’ll enjoy all these wonderful samples of Two-Step Stamping, I have to say, it has become one of my favorite techniques since we launched our photopolymer stamps a few years ago. If you happened to stop by earlier today, thanks! If you just arrived from Colleen’s blog- thank you for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy our offerings this month!

First up is a fun new stamp set from the catalog called “Fabulous Flamingo”, I just adore this set and love how perfectly this sentiment from “Eastern Beauty” completes this card (it was a new release bundle in May and I just can’t stop using it- I’m crazy about cursive fonts!!).  This flamingo is actually a 4 step stamp, with three colors and after the two step stamping, there are two more different steps. (It’s not hard at all, I promise- if I can do it, you can too!)

Next up is a card I featured at my Stamping Bingo last month. All the ladies loved getting their hands on this exclusive hostess stamp set called “Tranquil Tulips”. (this stamp set can be your free choice with an order of $150 or more as your “host rewards”… if you have a long wish list, I’d love to help you!) Of course, can you tell I had to keep using the greetings from Eastern Beauty stamp set? I love this little “hello” don’t you?

When I was trying to decide on the colors, I kept playing with the new In Colors, once I paired it with my two new favorites, it made this card a breeze- Lemon-Lime Twist and Fresh Fig with a Very Vanilla base… it really helped make the Designer Series Paper “pop” a little bit, don’t you think?

Here are the supplies used for the Flamingo Card: (if you click the image it will take you to my store and you can add it to your shopping cart):

Here are the supplies used for the Tulip Card:

Stampin’ Up! has an amazing special this month only- with over $72 of additional free products just for purchasing the starter kit! I would love to welcome YOU to my amazing team of Lynnzcrafters! Creative Inking- What Goes Around

Hello friends,

Welcome to the May Blog Hop of the Creative Inking Crew. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from the US and Canada, and we bring you inspiration each month.

This month, our theme is “What Goes Around”, and I have decided to feature the cards from the new Eastern Palace Suite that Stampin’ Up! launched on May 1st for customers (demonstrators were able to pre-order it in April).  I advertised the special bundles at my stamp camp and to my customers last month and had a group jump at the chance to have this gorgeous bundle with FREE products as well! As a reward, for everyone who ordered this bundle from me by May 4th, I offered a special class on Wednesday night. Here are the cards we made and I’m throwing in some recent club cards I made so you can see that the possibilities are endless with this suite.

First up is a card featuring our new very vanilla note cards!

This card features our gorgeous Designer Series Paper (DSP) and right under the word “thank you” is one of the gorgeous new gold metallic stickers-yes, that’s right, I said stickers! They are so fun!

This card includes our fun new tassels, some gold foil specialty paper under the die-cut out shape, and more gold stickers! I love the new In-Colors included in this bundle, here on this card I’ve used Lemon Lime Twist with Fresh Fig.

This card was a “wow” card- with some “fussy cutting around the edges of the largest medallion gold sticker. This new color is called Tranquil Tide. A complimentary color to this suite is Dapper Denim from our returning In-Color collection.

Everyone loved making these cards, what do you think?

Let me also share with you two cards I featured at my clubs this month, this first one is my own design- featuring the new gorgeous In-Color Lemon Lime Twist! I LOVE it!!

This card was inspired by Patty Bennett- when I saw that she had created a sunflower card out of the Eastern Palace Suite, I wanted to see if any other demonstrators had done any sunflowers too. I found a simple card made by Julie D (the paper pixie) and I decided to CASE (copy and share everything) her design for my club members. They loved it and some of them even stepped it up and added some die cut words, and embellishments. (I wish I had thought to take photos of all of them- they were great!).

HERE’S MORE INFORMATION on the two bundles Stampin’ Up! released from the Eastern Palace suite for EARLY customer purchase – these offers are good only until May 31. Get these bundles now- before the products become available in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, (which begins June 1.) *Note that these items will not be offered as a bundle with free product after May 31st (everything will be available individually).

Don’t you just love the font? It’s gorgeous!

Here’s a FREE pdf to create three beautiful card ideas using the Eastern Palace Premier Bundle.

You can print a flyer here of what is included in the two bundles.

The starter bundle (147196, $60.50) includes FREE Very Vanilla Note Cards & Envelopes. (Does NOT include the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies.)

The premier bundle (147207, $103.50) includes FREE Very Vanilla Medium Envelopes & NEW Very Vanilla Thick Card Stock (8.5 x 11). It does include the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies.

BOTH bundles include THREE of the NEW 2017-2019 In Color Ink Pads, Fresh Fig, Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist. These colors are so on trend right now!

Don’t these colors look gorgeous together?? I bet you can’t wait to get your hands on them! I was so thrilled to get them in April!

2016-17 Annual Catalog, 2017 Occasions and Sale-a-Bration!, blog hop, card making, Creative Inking Blog Hop, Stampin Up

Creative Inking April Blog Hop!

Hello everyone!
Thank you for joining us for our next monthly hop- our theme is actually a Color Challenge and all the Stampin’ Up! demonstrators will be creating projects using Pear Pizzazz, Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo! Aren’t these colors just gorgeous together?? What does it make you think of? (Rainbow Sherbert maybe??)

I love a good challenge, don’t you? I can’t wait to see what everyone has created this month!

For my first card using this color challenge,  I decided to do a watercolor wash on our shimmery white card stock, and then stamped right on top with a “day at the beach” stamp set.

I also stamped it with a greeting from “endless wishes” (which is also retiring) to make this a fun card for someone about to travel, retire or move.

Next stop was a technique called no-line water coloring. Basically you use the same ink color to stamp and watercolor the image.

What do you think of my two cards using this color challenge? Are you ready to create with these three beautiful colors?

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, please leave me a comment (scroll to bottom, enter where it says “leave a response”).
