Bingo Fun and Give-Away!

Hi everyone, how are you? I was teased last night at my monthly bingo night that I never post the pictures of this fun event. So I wanted to create a post for you to show you the projects that we made, and the prizes that were given away. Stampin’ bingo is a super fun event!

There is a lot of time, preparation, and set up that goes into my monthly bingo event. In order to fit 14 ladies comfortably I put one table in my living room and the rest fit at my dining room table. I sit in the archway between the two rooms as I call out the bingo.

My customers really enjoy this fun night out, and typically fill up the next month’s Bingo as I give them first dibs on the seats for the next month.

Here are the prizes that I purchased with their $20 registration fee that is paid in advance:

There are seven bundles valued between $30 – $40 sometimes one is even a little bit above that. We play six games of bingo and the winner of each round picks one of the prizes. Then the seventh bundle is for the raffle tickets, they earn a raffle ticket for attending, bringing a snack/beverage to share, placing an order with me that night, booking their own party/class, and if there is a bingo tie, the person who did not win the bingo/off as well as anyone who wins another game of bingo then they receive extra raffle tickets. Last night we had three games were there were ties so we had to have a playoff/bingo off. And we also had two duplicate winners. Hope that makes sense.

Here are the make and take projects that we did last night. I was so excited to show them these adorable little copper tea tins in the whole teatime suite.

The three little note cards also included the extra DSP, so everyone got six swatches of this beautiful paper. It may be hard to see but I also use the copper stickers and the colorful paper stickers from the memories and more collection. I also included three organic green tea bags. This is a perfect little gift or inspiration piece for your craft room.

One of the cards I featured was a slight case from one of our make and takes at Onstage. I wanted to feature the stained glass Vellum and the new blends. Unfortunately the new colors are not available yet but I was lucky to get pineapple punch and lovely lipstick Onstage. I took pictures of the ladies’ cards when they were finished, as everyone used different color schemes and there were two different square patterns in the pack … and as you can see no two cards are alike. Great job everyone!

Here are the winners of the six games of bingo. And the last bundle was drawn at the end of the night and this artistic expressions bundle is going out to Susan B. (Nancy said she is going to be in touch with you about getting this to you so you will have your prize.)

I forgot to take pictures of the food table, but once again these ladies did an amazing job of bringing some yummy snacks, a sign up in advance so that we don’t have duplicates. We had a veggie tray, fresh fruit, hummus and pita, cookies, delicious veggie pizza, amazing lemon blueberry cake, nuts, chips and salsa, chips and dip, popcorn, cheese and crackers, beer and wine. It was a smorgasbord.

I am so very thankful that these ladies love my monthly bingo event, thank you so much for your support!

Don’t forget that I am doing a comment contest, for everyone who leave me a comment on one of my blog post this month will be entered in a drawing to win this great little bundle of goodies. The gold ribbon and the metallic doilies are now retired. But the mini notecards are a new size in our catalog that you will enjoy. Just leave me a comment and be sure to include the hashtag #lynnzcrafters

Thank you so much for reading this post today I hope you have a wonderful day!

2018-19 Annual Catalog, blog hop, color Refresh, Creative Inking Blog Hop, Stampin Up

Creative Inking Blog Hop Sneak Peek of 2018-19 Catalog!

Hi Everyone and Welcome to our monthly Blog Hop! This month the Creative Inking Team are showcasing projects using all new items from the Stampin’ Up! 2018-19 Annual Catalog (it launches on June 1st, 2018!) I have to admit, when I got my hands on this catalog back in April at OnStage, I thought to myself “best catalog ever!” and then some of my downline said the same thing to me! I know YOU will LOVE it too!

I really wanted to show off the new In Colors to you and a bundle that I was so excited to get my hands on called varied vases and it has a coordinating punch!

The red is called lovely lipstick in the yellow is called pineapple punch and I think these two colors are so gorgeous together and we even have matching DSP stack.

Here is the inside of my card. A perfect little birthday card for that special someone. This bundle was created for Mary Fish, in honor of her milestone- $1 million in sales! When that happens, Stampin’ Up! brings the demonstrator to their home office in Utah and they get to help create a stamp set and possibly coordinating products.

I also want to share project that we did today at a demonstrator get together. The super talented Jacqueline Litts created these gorgeous frames for us and we decorated them with the new products from the Share What You Love Suite. Thank you so much for hosting our get together today Jacqueline, and thank you so much for this wonderful gift it looks beautiful in my craft room! Friends, you only have a few more days to get this at a bundle price and receive free gifts from Stampin’ Up!

Well, that is it for today from me, I really appreciate your stopping by for a visit, and I treasure each of your comments! Leave a comment below to be entered into my new Comment Contest– each month I will be tallying up all those who leave me a comment on any of my blog posts, and use the hashtag: #lynnzcrafters  (before or after your comment). I will select one winner at random, I will contact you for your address, then I will send you a small package of goodies.   You have until May 31st to leave me a new comment. Hi there stampers! Have you enjoyed this beautiful Saturday? I know I did! I had my Saturday morning club ladies over for our monthly get together. Above is the photo of the 4 projects I prepared for them: A petite purse filled with hugs and kisses, with a tea time charm; An elegant tea-cup card perfect for an amazing lady (yes- we embossed with the beautiful pool party embossing powder!), and a small box with a see-thru lid and 4 darling note cards (all stamped differently with the new “Best of Flowers” set that launched last month) with mini note envelopes and some tea bags!  A perfect ensemble for that very special lady, or hey, keep it for yourself as an office decoration!

Notice anything different about this card? One of my new stamping friends, Patty, stepped her card up a notch with the pearls and rhinestone. It really makes the card pop, doesn’t it?

It just so happened that I had planned these club projects out over a week ago, before I knew about the “Color REfresh” going on. I knew I wanted to have some “WOW” projects for my club members and I thought I would showcase the outgoing “In-colors”…. well imagine my surprise when we ended up having a color change up to the line up, knowing that now is huge and I’m thrilled Stampin’ Up has so graciously let us in on the plans this early! I told my club members to stock up on their favorite inks, reinkers, markers, card stock, etc. on all the out going colors, as there’s no guaruntee that they’ll make it to the clearance rack!

So here is what is GOING away in our current colors (10)  and In-colors (1):

Lucky Limeade, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Bravo Burgundy, Not Quite Navy, More Mustard, River Rock.

Here’s a look at what our newly configured color families will look like as of May 31, 2013 (when the new catalog goes “LIVE”, a day earlier than we were planning!):

When Stampin’ Up takes something away, they give us something GREAT, and I’m THRILLED about Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sky, Pool Party, Blushing Bride, and Island Indigo (all In-Colors returing). Crushed Curry is coming back to (that one doesn’t thrill me as much as the others), and I can’t wait to see the brand new Smoky Slate, a light grey shade. Grey is so “On Trend” right now!

Look how pretty these new/returing colors look together- the Terrific Trendy Ten… that’s what I’m calling them!

I couldn’t let a day go by without showing you some things I’ve been working on. Tonight I was so blessed to have my dear friend Jamie (and she’s also my first recruit), came over to help me do some preparing for an upcoming event, on Saturday April 20th I’ll be selling some hand-made items. I have decided to use my profits for my ongoing efforts to support the American Cancer Society. As a cancer survivor, it is very important to me to give back to this wonderful organization. They were very helpful to my family and I last year, as I navigated through a very scary time. I did my first fundraiser for them last December and wanted to continue to raise money for them. This is my next attempt. I’ll keep you posted on all my efforts.

Here are some of the 12×12 fabric covered photo/bulletin boards I made tonight, which one is your favorite?

Well, I made 7 of these tonight, plus some cards, and Jamie helped me make some cards- but I’d better save something to show you this weekend. {smile}

Don’t forget to check back here in the morning for the hostess code, if you want to be entered to win the free bundle I’m raffling off to online customers.

Until tomorrow, happy stamping!

Color Refresh, Free Shipping deal… Big Stampin’ Up! Announcements!

Good morning! Look at what posted on the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator website this morning, I couldn’t wait to share it with you:

DO YOU DREAM IN COLOR? WE DO!
April 4, 2013
Announcing our Color Refresh! We love color and we know that you do too. Color is fundamental to who we are and what we offer. It’s important for us to stay up-to-date with color trends so we are thrilled to share our updated line of colors, and hope you will be as excited as we are by the new possibilities!

Why now? In 2010 we did a big color renovation and shared our plans for smaller color refreshes every three to five years to keep our colors on trend. Well it has been three years and we are excited to announce that the upcoming 2013-2014 annual catalog will include 10 new colors (most of which are returning In Colors from previous years)! We are welcoming back some of your favorites, moving some colors around, and introducing one brand-new color, so take a look!

image

Beginning on April 4, 2013, all retiring/discontinued color products (i.e. ink, paper, ribbon, accessories, etc.) will be available only while supplies last. This means that some products will not be available through the retired list period. We did anticipate increased demand and based our forecasts for these retiring colors on historical sales information from previous color transitions. However, even with the most careful planning, the response to a transition of this nature can surprise everyone- our retiring color products are only available while supplies last so get their favorites and look forward to the exciting colors coming in the 2013-2014 annual catalog.

And also announced today, free shipping is going on April 6-8, 2013, which would be a great time for you to get your favorites before they are gone! (Free shipping is for North America only.)

With that great announcement, it’s time for another Lynnzcrafters contest:
Online orders, from my store: http//:LynnStreifert.Stampinup.net
I will be posting the new hostess code to use from April 6th to April 8th at 6:00 pm (eastern time), not only will you receive FREE SHIPPING on your order, but you will be entered to win a prize from me….

That’s right, I’m giving away the Round Array clear stamp set and coordinating 7/8″ scallop circle punch! Free! To one lucky winner!

Lastly, here is an announcement from SU yesterday afternoon:

WATERCOLOR PENCILS AND CRAYONS DISCONTINUED
April 3, 2013
Due to unforeseen problems with our supplier for Watercolor Wonder Crayons and Watercolor Pencils, we have decided to discontinue these two products.

Watercolor Pencils (item 101879) and Watercolor Wonder Crayons Brights Collection (item 119804), which have been on the Backorder Report for about a week, will no longer be available, effective immediately. If your order has not been shipped due to its status in backorder, we will not be able to fill it. We will soon begin processing refunds for these items. Keep in mind that it may take a few days to see the reimbursement in your account.

Now for the good news! We still have the remaining collections of the Watercolor Wonder Crayons available to order. The Subtles (item 119802), Neutrals (item 119805), and Regals (item 119803) Collections are only available while supplies last. Get ’em before they’re gone!

Thank you for reading my blog, for your continued support and loyalty, and for sharing this page with your crafty friends and family!

Have a great day, until tomorrow, happy stamping!!
~Lynn Streifert

*Note I just edited this post as I found out today I cannot set up the hostess code before 12:01 am on April 6th to be eligible for the free shipping. So I will be posting a correct hostess code early April 6th for you weekend shoppers.
