Every quarter I invite the girls who are the top four in sales, as well as anyone who has promoted in title and anyone who has recruited in the prior quarter. I try to strive to have a unique get together which will be a lot of fun. I try to stick to a theme, and that includes little gifts as well as the food. I went with a garden/succulent theme and we celebrated with a delicious Cinco de Mayo lunch.
I invited my dear friend Nancy to teach us how to plant and care for a succulent garden. She works at a local nursery called Brookside and was able to get us some beautiful plants and accessories. We did the planting in my garage, just in case the soil dropped (I didn’t want dirt all over the place inside.)
I was fascinated by a cake that I saw my friend Jennifer make and post on her Facebook wall, she is the head baker at Dolce Biscotti Bakery in Clifton Park and I ordered this delicious chocolate cake with blackboard theme frosting and succulent flowers on top. Everyone loved it!
Here we have Laurie, MaryBeth, Nancy, Joan, Kathy, and Amye. We were missing two girls who earned this special reward: Tiffany and Sharon. (but We made their planter boxes for them)
Nancy got some great accessories didn’t she? perfect soil, nice variety of plants, stones or glass, sand and little critters. Just priceless.
I forgot to take a picture of our stamping projects, but up in the craft room we made a card using new in colors and bundle and we also made a color chart with paper, ink, a markers in all five color families so the girls have a nice tool they can use in their craft room and with their customers.
Stampin’ Up! provides wonderful resources to demonstrators on our website. I just downloaded the file and printed on our whisper white card stock and it worked out perfectly for us.
I am already working on ideas for the next one, the quarter will end June 30 and the reward day will be sometime this summer. I love spoiling these girls for all their hard work and I’m so thankful that they have stepped out of their comfort zone by having Paper Pumpkin get together’s, stamping fun nights with their friends, clubs and classes and that they have invited others to join the team as well! Kudos everyone for a fabulous job!
Thanks for so much for visiting me today I hope you have a great day!
Happy Stamping!
