Have you ever had a vision and wondered how it would “ever” work? Well, let me tell you- don’t second guess yourself, step out of your comfort zone, and Go For It!
A few weeks ago Stampin’ Up!’s Northeast Demonstrator Development Manager (DDM), Jessica Werner, posted on our Facebook group that she was looking to attend some stamping events in the Northeast part of the US. I immediately thought of inviting her to my next team meeting, but it was so close to Easter that she had to decline. Then, I spoke to her about another idea I had when we were together at OnStage last month, and she loved the idea of coming to join me at my May team meeting!! I decided I wanted to focus on a “New Catalog Launch” with displays, Make and takes, stamping projects, food, fun, and fellowship to help those who were unable to go to OnStage and help them prepare to launch the new catalog to their customers.

One thing I quickly realized, was there was no way I could pull this off on my own! Now, I have some incredibly talented and generous ladies on my team, but I wasn’t sure how to go about asking for their help… I shouldn’t have worried at all, for they truly stepped up in a HUGE way! You’ll see photos of their displays, Make and Takes, and an adorable door prize, which they all generously volunteered to help me with! Am I the luckiest girl in the world, or what? I mean, seriously- I didn’t have to twist anyone’s arm, beg or cry- they just offered! Bless you all, from the bottom of my heart! Lisa, Amye, Tiffany, Kathy, Laurie, MaryBeth and Susan- your displays, Make and Takes, and daisy treat pouch were all a huge hit and I’m so very thankful for your generosity and talents! You supported me in my vision, and I will forever be grateful for your time, efforts and skills! You inspired everyone in the room with your beautiful creations!

I didn’t even tell them I’d be calling them up to the stage, just a small token of my appreciation in those cute bird bags. Thank you!!

So speaking of the stage, it was all set up for the preschool graduation ceremony the next morning, and it was perfect for our use as well- a great vantage point up there!

20 of my downline members attended this event, thank you ladies for attending and added thanks for those who helped bring snacks, beverages, ice, set up, registration, clean up, and Prize Patrol!
I’m so grateful for each of you!
These stamping friends are local and get together monthly as the Upstate Stampers Group. I had planned to have 30 stampers at this event, because that is how many I have on my team, but when spots opened up, I reached out to be sure we filled the room for Jessica’s long trip to visit us from Rhode Island. I’m so thrilled that you were all able to attend! Thanks friends for coming to this event, and to those who brought treats, thank you!

These next few pictures show how the tables were set up- I followed my set up as I do for bingo- putting 6 people at each of 5 long tables. I asked 1 person to take the lead at each table to help rotate the stamping supplies in a clockwise rotation, cleaning off the stamps and help everyone complete the project at the their table. (It worked out well that everyone who prepared a Make and Take did all the big shot work in advance).
It just filled my heart to overflowing to have all these special ladies all together for this wonderful event.
Now, for this last section- I wanted to show you the amazing displays that my friends came up with, I know you are going to love all this inspiration!

Last but not least I had made a dozen cards to feature the Everything is Rosy special for May. I wanted to display these cards for my demo friends.
Well I think that is all for now, I will do another post with pictures of the five Make & Takes and swaps. I think I’ll save that for this weekend and will be back to share more.
I receive so much positive feedback about this event that I am thinking of doing another demonstrator only event to kick off either the Holiday catalog or the next Occasions catalog. I’m not really sure but I will keep you posted.
Thank you so much for reading this blog and just a reminder there are only a few days left to get the Everything is Rosy Product Medley.
