Stampin Friends Happy Holidays Hop!

Hi there Stampin Friends!

I hope that this blog post finds you all doing well! This is certainly the season where things seem to get more hectic, there’s more illness, and if you’re like me, you just want to simplify and celebrate a meaningful holiday with your loved ones.

I hope this post gives you some ideas. I’m here for you! If you would like to give a meaningful gift this Christmas, I would be honored if you would consider me, and perhaps a Stampin’ Up!  gift certificate or products to make any crafter happy!

I recently hosted a small get together for my sister, her coworkers, and their daughters. Their request was to make some Christmas totes and special packaging for gift giving. In addition to the three projects here, I also let the girls have a little freedom to create cards (they loved that).

This little tote is super easy to make, I don’t know who to credit with the original idea, I’ve modified the pattern through the years to make cutting/prep easy.

I started with a 4″ x 12″ strip of Designer Series Paper, then used coordinating color cardstock, the two handles are 1/2″ x 11″ and the base is 2 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ scored  at 1/2″ on all four sides (clip corners). (You can also cover the outer top and bottom edges with 1/2″ x 12″ strips of matching card stock for a finished look.

The second project is this glitzy gift bag, everyone loved using the heat embossing tool! I don’t think the photos do this justice, it is just so sparkly! This gift bag would be perfect for giving some jewelry, gift cards, small items that will fit inside (inside measurement is 4 3/4″x 7″) – and the inside is a food safe interior if you want to put your handmade treats inside!

The third project we made is this adorable Christmas Quilt themed pizza box. The felt embellishments are just the shining star here. Pizza boxes are so versatile and are food safe also, and can fit a gift card holder or small gift as well. (inside measurements are 3″x3″).

And since we always share a card as well as our 3-D creations, here is a sweet and simple coordinating card.

We have a give-away! Just comment on each blog with the hashtag #SFbloghop2017 and leave a comment (tell me what you love about my projects).
