Stampin Up

Way to Go Day!!

Today was my very first team rewards get together, once each quarter I am inviting my top 4 downline over for a fun get together! For the first quarter of the 2016-17 Stampin’ Up! year (October-December 2016) I had four ladies who earned points for this special invitation. Amye, Lisa, Sharon, and Kim were invited over for breakfast and a stamping get together today. (unfortunately Kim got sick and couldn’t make it).

I made a bacon egg and cheese quiche and also a seafood mozzarella quiche, fruit salad, mini bagels and muffins, and had OJ and sparkling pear juice.

Then we got to work creating a beautiful vertical succulent wall hanging.

Amye had shared a photo of a vertical garden made a few years ago by a demonstrator named Rachel, with old Stampin’ Up! product. I updated it with our current ‘oh so succulent bundle’,  some Spanish moss and the detailed dragonfly thinlits.

Here is a close-up of the dragonfly, we used three markers: pool party, rich razzleberry, and cucumber crush to color the dragonfly, deluted it with an aqua painter, and then when it was dry applied wink of Stella across the top. I use the solid image to just cut out a dragonfly with our vellum card stock to layer underneath the detailed die cut out.

Here is a photo of just putting the hens and chickens (as I like to call them)…. the succulents were made with always artichoke card stock and sponged with rich razzleberry ink.

The small flowers were made with the petite petal punch and a pansy punch using sweet sugarplum card stock, and I distressed it with rich razzleberry ink.

Here are the girls with their creations:

Here’s Sharon with hers!

Amye’s creation!

The frames are an 8 x 10″ distressed frame, I used very vanilla card stock over the glass, and hot glued the Spanish moss directly onto the card stock.

The girls and I had a lovely time this morning and I’m so glad that I finally took the leap to plan this new reward for my team. They are doing such an awesome job and I am so proud of each one of them! This quarterly WTG day is on top of our monthly Stampin’ Up! get together at my house. We sure have a lot of fun, laughs, stamping, swapping, and eating too!

I would love to welcome you to my Lynnzcrafter team, have you been thinking about it? This is the best month of the year to join with all of our specials, I’d be happy to talk to you more about it! And three brand-new items are being released for SAB!

Thanks for stopping by to visit my blog today, and have a great night!

Lynn
