We Create- Step it Up- January 2017!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!! I hope that you all have a very blessed 2017! I shared this idea on my Lynnzcrafters facebook page last week and decided to make a blessings jar for myself.

Here was my first attempt, it was too plain:

So then I decided to “step it up” and use this project for my Blog Hop today, what do you think??

Here’s a close up of just the tag

I used the word “Blessings” from the set Christmas Pines (I just cut the word ‘Christmas’ off so I could bend the word ‘blessings’ to fit on the banner punched piece,  I decided to use this stamp as this is one of the holiday catalog stamp sets that is carrying over into 2017!)

  1. What a great idea! I love the glittery numbers and the sweet little details you’ve added. I’m totally doing one of these for our house. One of my resolutions is to be more positive this year, and this is a great way to get started. Thanks Lynn!

  2. Or you can make it into a prayer jar. Write a prayer for something hapenning in your life or someone else and at the end of the year read them and see how they were answered

  3. I hope your jar gets filled with all kinds of goodness and good things. You can’t go wrong with glimmer paper. There was a little gal in our primary class at church we were spotlighting for the month and she was asked what made her happy. She responded “glitter” I couldn’t agree more!
