Hi there Stampin Friends! This month’s blog hop is all about Animals! Animal lovers rejoice! Do you have a furry family member? I had picked this cute stamp set, “Hey Girl” out for the blog hop before I went to OnStage convention last week. Turns out it is retiring, along with lots of products I used today.

I used my blender pens to color in the girl, dog, butterflies, and flowers. I used sponge dauber to add soft sky and then an aqua painter to add old olive for the grass. I fussy cut the dress by stamping on the Birthday Bouquet DSP.

For the treat project, I wanted something that would hold a little gift, this mini treat box is perfect for a pair of earrings, bracelet or necklace. Notice the scallop circle punch? That is retiring also… so if you don’t have it yet- grab it fast! Punches are so versatile, I like to have them all (for punch art projects too!).

As an OnStage participant, Stampin’ Up! has challenged us to hold one more event each month from May through October… I am committing to this and have been looking at my calendar and would love your opinions, what kinds of events do you think I should be sure to include in the next six months? I’m toying with some options (Kids Classes, Mommy and Me, Technique Tuesdays, or Memory Keeping Made Simple)… do any of those interest you? I’d love to read your comments… thanks!

It’s been a busy week since I’ve been back from Utah. Tomorrow is my birthday, and I took the day off from work for some fun outings and will finalize my #6monthstampingoals
