Stampin Up

Cards & Bingo Fun!

Hi there stamping friends, boy did we have a super fun night last night at my second Stampin’ Up! bingo night! This event sold out quickly and with 14 stampers this time I had to get rid of some furniture in the living room to set up a craft table and six chairs. Well let me show you some pictures and see what you think?

I still had a few winter things out so after I took this picture I had to rearrange a little bit.

I went with soft pastels for the color palette and some spring themed cards in between six rounds of bingo!

I just realized in looking at all my photos that we had five mother/daughter pairs in the house for bingo last night!

Do you see the hutch full of prizes? There were eight bundles, seven were for the bingo games and one was for the raffle!

Thanks for the use of your OTT lamp Joan! We really needed it- I’ll have to get one of those!

Here are the four cards we made tonight, are they bright colorful fun spring cards, or what? Which one do you like the best?

First up is one of my most favorite paper pumpkin kit ever!! this kit (from February 2015) contained ingredients to make nine cards! And there’s lots of leftovers, the font is so sweet, plus love these sentiments! 💕

Next up, is a coloring card… You know how adult coloring books are all the rage? Well, this stamp set “swallowtail” is perfect for coloring in with colored pencils, and I sure hope Stampin’ Up! has some coloring pencils or new alcohol markers for us (which is one big reason I wanted to go to Utah next month for our convention – I can’t wait to see the new products we will come out with in June!)

This card I cased from Selene Kempton- I just love the cute little pear! The paper is from farmers market designer series paper in the annual catalog!

Last but not least,  another card that showcased coloring, only this time we used the blender pens. I just love lilacs and although I know they come in many colors, I wanted mine colored in purple, so I selected our wisteria wonder to use to color the lilacs, and crumb cake for the stem.

The first winner of the night was Lisa and she got to pick any bundle she wanted, she picked the bear hugs bundle!

The winner of the second bingo game was Mary Beth and she picked the adhesives, Easter lamb and flowering fields stamp set bundle.

I just love this picture of Courtney, Marilyn’s lovely daughter, and she won the third game of bingo and picked this great eclectic bundle (A stamp set, ink pad, foam pad, DSP, and a pack of glitter tape)

Joan won the fourth game of bingo and picked the bundle “enjoy the little things” kit and stamp set!

I sold extra bingo cards for another raffle, and Addie (Nancy’s lovely daughter) won the prize and she earned $35 shopping spree!

Next up- Nancy won the next round of bingo! She picked out a bundle with stamps and designer series paper!

I did not get a picture of the sixth game winner (which was Mary Beth again), she won two prizes last night!

This picture is of Sheila with her winning for the coverall which was filling her whole board on the Stampin’ Up! bingo boards I made on the computer.

Our first three games of bingo were straight up number bingo, the last three games of bingo were a game I created on the computer with the 48 color names. It was a little hard to try to find the colors so Tiffany gave me an idea of how to structure it to make new game boards, which I will do when we play again in May.

And I don’t have a picture of the last prize of the night went to Sheila for the drawing of all the raffle tickets. People earned one raffle ticket each for: for attending, bringing snacks, ordering from me last night, and Sheila won that prize as well!

And I am so grateful to Tiffany and Mary Beth who helped cleanup and bring everything back up to my craft room last night it was so nice of you guys to help like that I really appreciate it! 😘

Well what do you think? Do you think this looks like a fun night out? We had some wine, wine spritzers, beer, seltzer, water, chips, dip, fruit, veggies, hummus, crackers, meatballs, brownies, cupcakes, cookies, and candy! It was a great snack fest for sure!

I just had so much fun giving away almost $300 in prizes all total!!

Can’t wait to do it again!! I’m looking at the calendar to figure out when in May (I like to skip a month because it is so much work to pull this off.)

I would love to hear from you let me know what you think about my Stampin’ Up! bingo nights would you like to come play?

I hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!
