Good morning stamping friends! I hope you all are doing well! Are you ready for Christmas? Me neither 😉.
I had a little mishap over a week ago, thought I was at the bottom of my stairs- but I wasn’t, and missed the last two stairs. Needless to say, I fractured two metatarsals in my right foot, and have a slightly sprained ankle too! I could not believe it!
Fortunately, my amazing sister came to my rescue and helped me out for which I am so grateful! I am on the mend, and getting along great with my walking boot. I go back to the orthopedic specialist next month-and I am so thankful that we have had a wonderfully mild winter so far! It certainly helps that I do not need to contend with snow or ice right now.
I could not cancel my customer and downline appreciation party as this was already rescheduled for August when my dad fell. I thought I would put a jinx on someone in my family if I rescheduled it, no more falls!
I decided to have an open house style party and I had it two nights so people who were busy could stop by either night.
Everyone who came received some free gifts from me- just for attending!
I think the new 2016 Occasions & Saleabration Catalogs were a big hit!
I had the craft room set up so the ladies could go upstairs and make some tags.
I only made up one sample tag because I wanted the ladies to use their own creativity, boy I wish I had taken pictures of some of the gorgeous tags these ladies made!
I also had some snacks and yummy beverages and it was wonderful to see so many friends over these two nights!
This cookie tray was made up from the cookies my team made in our cookie swap… I put mine in the freezer in a Tupperware so they would be nice and fresh for the parties.
This beverage was a big hit, I saw it on Pinterest it was called Santas little ho-ho! Gingerale, frozen strawberries, ice, and champagne were the simple ingredients! I had people add the champagne to their cup since I knew some kids were coming to the party too.
I also set up my spare bedroom as an indoor craft fair, because I had made dozens of items for the Glendaal holiday bazaar and was unable to have my booth since I broke my foot, I decided to offer my customers and downline a chance to shop while they were here.
**If you are local and need some stocking stuffers, or handmade treats let me know I still have a lot left and would love to have you come over at a time that is convenient for both of us.
Everyone who attended, brought a treat, brought me a hand stamp card, wore Christmas garb, or purchased anything from my craft fair received raffle tickets. (I also included raffle tickets for everyone who had ordered from my online store going back to the extravaganza the week of Thanksgiving). There were over 100 entries in the raffle! I had a prize basket of $100 in Stampin’ Up! products to give away to one lucky winner, and the winner was a friend and customer, congratulations Nancy!!
I am so thankful for all my wonderful customers, downline, and friends who helped me have such a wonderful year! You helped me earn my first incentive trip, I had a ball in California back in September and I could not have done it without you! I wish you all could’ve been here for the party!
I also want to report that my friend Jamie is doing much better has been discharged and is staying with her daughter while she were covers from her stroke and surgery. Thank you for keeping her in your prayers and keep on praying for a complete recovery!
Have a wonderful weekend thank you for stopping by my blog today be sure to come back tomorrow as we have an awesome blog hop plan for you and sneak peek products from the new catalogs!!
