Hi There!
You are invited! My team and I are organizing a FREE card making event for you, to celebrate that Saturday October 4th, 2014 is World Card Making Day! We have rented the Knight Hall at Burnt Hills United Methodist Church on Rt. 50 … the event is open from 1-4 pm (you can choose any hour to attend, it is an “Open House” style event that shouldn’t take you more than an hour to make 2 cards).
In lieu of a cost to make cards, we ask that you bring a donation (from the suggested list of items the church can use for their ministry, see below), any and all donations are graciously accepted.
You will receive a ticket with two table numbers on it when you arrive-We will assign you to the tables based on openings at that time, so the tables are not congested. There will be many different styles and types of cards, and we are sure you are going to enjoy stamping and creating some cards featuring Stampin’ Up! products. My team and I will be preparing a variety of different cards, and there will be one “free for all” table, where you can create from scraps any card you’d like!
Please RSVP by 9/27 at noon, or as soon as you are sure you can attend.
We are going to limit this event to the first 50 people who email me at LStreifert@nycap.rr.com
We are very excited to bring you this fun event! Please help us spread the word to anyone you know who might enjoy coming to make some handmade cards!
We will have a display of some cards and gifts made from our new Holiday line of awesome products. There will be a raffle basket of Stampin’ Up! Product at the end of the day, raffle tickets will be given to anyone who books a home party and/or orders any products from our current catalogs that day.
Here is a card I came up with as one possible choice, and as always we will have alternate sentiments available for your card, so you can make it as you need it.

Suggested Donations:
School supplies and children’s books (we will pass these along to Schenectady Inner City Ministry, the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen, or the Refugee Center in Albany) and/or toilet paper, diapers and feminine supplies are always in demand, as these are expensive and not covered by EBT cards.
Thanks so much, hope to see you on the 4th!

Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator,
and Team Leader of Lynnzcrafters
