Drawing will be at 9 pm tonight. Do YOU want to Win this set???

I wanted to show you some swaps I received recently, this was organized by a fellow demonstrator out in the Midwest, and wowza, it sure is awesome to get 24 cards made from some very talented demonstrators!

This beautiful card was made by Connie Fouts, isn’t this just precious? Simple but stunning!

This card was made by Carolyn DelGrosso, and I just love her use of the Flower Patch and Bravo new photopolymer sets together- they really are fun stamp sets and I know I’ll be casing this card for sure!

I also want to share with you a card I made yesterday for my niece Jordan, she heads off to college today. I had a family dinner last night and we really enjoyed eating yummy Mexican food and hanging out.

Here are the supplies I used for this card:

My nephew even got into the Project Life by Stampin’ Up! cards that I had on my coffee table (I haven’t finished Jordan’s album yet- but I hope to finish it this week and will get it up to her). Ethan is 7 years old and loves making “bubble letters” it sure is fun to watch him create. Then he found the washi tape, and I asked him to make me a card, what to you think? pretty cute, huh?

I didn’t even cringe when he used a ton of washi tape to decorate the card he made for me, I’ll treasure it!!

My Favorite Things…

Good Morning!

With the launch of the Holiday Catalog the other day people have been asking me what my favorite items are from the Holiday Catalog, if you want to know too, then here you go…. Here’s my Top 12 new Holiday Catalog Favorites!

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my favorite items, now tell me- what is your favorite item out of the Holiday Catalog??

I posted a very quick post last night asking for your help to reach a goal for this month. You see, Stampin’ Up! has a Career Plan that rewards demonstrators based on their individual sales each month. And, as you know, I am trying to earn the Incentive Trip for 2016 now- I had to set monthly sales goals- which are far above what I normally do each month.

That’s why I need your help. I am about $200 away from my target (or sweet spot as I called it yesterday) as not only will I reach my goal, but I will also earn a higher commission. I can really use that as I need to buy new aprons for all my new downline, and I’m treating my team to a weekend get away in Lake Luzerne next month, so the extra commission will really help me out.

Because I’m hoping there are a few things you’d like to get out of the new Holiday Catalog- I decided to offer you a FREE SHIPPING weekend- if you contact me by 8 pm on Sunday August 31 to place your order, then you will not pay any shipping on your whole order.

ALSO, to sweeten the pot (just thought of this over my morning coffee) if I actually hit $300 over the weekend in orders, then I will use the new free exclusive Hostess Set “Good Greetings” as a prize- each person who places an order with me will be entered to win and one lucky winner will get this nice stamp set (that’s IF I hit $300 mark).

Do you  think I can do it?? I hope so, and thank you for even thinking about helping me! I hope it’s a win-win.
Have a wonderful Saturday and thanks so much for stopping by my blog today, I really appreciate your visit here today!

Free Shipping this weekend, help me reach my “Sweet Spot”.

Hi Friends!

This is a very quick post to let you know that I am about $200 away from hitting a major sales milestone for the month of August.

I really need your help though, I can’t just order it all myself, so to “tempt” you- I am offering FREE SHIPPING from now through Sunday August 31st at 8 pm. You must contact me directly to place this order so I can adjust and credit you the free shipping.

those of you who know me, know I’m not much of a sports fan, but I do know there are a couple sports that have a “sweet spot” analogy!

Well, I’m not trying to be a better golfer or ball player, just a better Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

Won’t you help me out??

Thanks so much!

Welcome to our 5 new Lynnzcrafters!

WOWZA! I can hardly believe the good fortune that has occurred! This week while Stampin’ Up! offered their “Short and Sweet Deal” on the starter kit, my team and I were busy planting seeds (“Wouldn’t you like to save money?” or “wouldn’t you like to have some fun stamping sisters?” or my favorite “would you consider helping me out?”) I am beyond thrilled to announce that we have 5 new team mates aboard this week! Congratulations to Molly who has recruited two people, welcome Ashley and Debora! Wendy has also recruited and I’d like to officially welcome Joan! and I was fortunate to have two friends, almost within minutes of each other, both sign up- many thanks to Amy D and Sheila!!

I am going to sit down this weekend and type up a team newsletter and calendar of all our events that are planned for the rest of the year to help you out. Also looking at planning some more stamping get togethers and team meetings to help everyone learn the ropes.

I also want to thank my awesome team: Jamie, Amye, Judy, Wendy, Tiffany, and Molly for helping to put on another fun stamping night Wednesday in Rotterdam (I think we need to come up with a name for our little get togethers there- anyone have any ideas??) The projects were super fun and we had a great turnout for the last hurrah of summer!

here are some of the few photos I took, I wish it was more, the night got busy and I forgot to take more photos at the end.

as you can see, we enjoyed some treats at this one, as we surprised Judy with a little birthday celebration. The ladies enjoyed making 3 cards, 5 gift tags and a cute box to put them all in. There was so much excitement in the room, it was great to listen to friends chat and catch up, stamp and giggle together. I love that the most about stamping!

Well yesterday the 2014 Holiday Catalog officially launched, and boy are you in for a treat! We are going to be having lots of classes, events and stamping parties to get you all ready for this wonderful season. Here is the link to the new Holiday Catalog– I hope to have the link on my blog later today.

I was fortunate to earn this awesome new stamp set called Good Greetings back in June with a sales promotion Stampin’ Up! was offering to us at the time. well now it is available as a FREE gift with any $300 workshop, party or order closed by October 30th! That’s right, book your party with me and I’d love to help you earn this stamp set with $50 in free products as well!

Here are the new weekly deals- 15% off items good until Monday!

Well, that’s all for now. Come back this weekend when I’ll have some swap cards to show you from a swap by mail I participated in, there are some really cool cards. Thanks for visiting me today, and won’t you please leave me a comment and let me know your favorite new item from the Holiday Catalog? I’m eager to find out what you love most! Happy Friday!

New Logo- What do YOU think?

I have been on a very long wait list for a new blog header, I made the Melon Mambo one at the top of this blog page myself almost 18 months ago using My Digital Studio (MDS) and it was okay at first, but I’m ready for something new.

I happened to mention that to an old friend from high school at an event we were both at together, and he introduced me to his teenage son, who happens to be a design whiz kid! Andrew came up with this new logo design for me and I wanted to know what you all think? Should this new owl replace my blog header? or should I just use it to “sign off” at the end of each blog post that you read here? Decisions, decisions!

Thanks for any input- and hey- if you have need for any graphic design, let me know- I can refer Andrew to you (or you to him) he does great work and is very reasonable.

It’s a Cherry Cobbler Christmas

Hi Friends! I hope you had a super great weekend! I know I sure did!

I wanted to share with you the two cards my stamping friends are going to make tonight at my first Christmas Stamp-a-Stack Class of the season! I didn’t intend to do both cards using Cherry Cobbler blendabilities, but I somehow either loaned, or lost, my circle framelits, so I had to come up with another card quick. (if you borrowed them please let me know as I am losing my mind over it!) thanks.

The cardinal card was a “CASE” (Copy And Share Everything) from another talented demonstrator named Pam (I goggled her and found her facebook page called Pam’s Paper Playhouse). I made some slight changes to use the products I had available for the class. Both cards feature our new blendabilities (alcohol markers) and boy, do they just make all the difference in the world! The Joyful Christmas poinsetta stamp set will retire for good on Wednesday August 27th, sniff, sniff … so I had to use it one more time.

Here are the supplies I used to make the cardinal card:

I did make a “mask” using a post-it note of the cardinal, so when I sponged the Lost Lagoon ink all over the whisper white paper, I didn’t want it on the bird.  It was really fun to make this card, I hope my friends like it too. Thanks to Pam for creating such a great masterpiece!

Next up is my favorite stamp set from the 2013 Holiday Catalog, and it has been on the “Carry Over List” and will retire on Wednesday August 27th. Here’s the list if you want to see what else is going away (there is a super nice Hanukkah stamp set in there!)    Carry-Over Holiday List

Here are the supplies I used for this card:

My Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack is the last Monday of the month from now to Thanksgiving. It is 10 cards per night, for $20 and as you can see there are two designs, stampers will make 5 of each one. I have room in the September, October and November class, so if you’d like to sign up- contact me for registration information. RSVP and payment is required at least 5 days before the event.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, and if you need to purchase any of these, or any other items, please remember to use the August Hostess Code if you do online shopping with me: YA7CNZND
(this will save you on shipping costs and it will come directly to you!)
Have a great day!

Project Life is Awesome!

IMG_0729Hi Friends!

I wanted to first thank everyone who came out Friday night for my First Project Life Open House night!

It was a great success- thanks to all of YOU!

There was wine, yummy snacks, and everyone got to touch and play with ALL the Project Life card sets!

Everyone made a page to take home and I’m so excited to have been able to show how quick and simple this new way of scrapbooking really is!

This was my “teaser” photo I posted on my Lynnzcrafters Facebook page to remind people to come over!

This was the wine bar, and I had Mojito mix too, but no one wanted any (wonder how long that stuff will keep?)

Friends who came over enjoyed playing and looking and seeing the whole line of Project Life by Stampin’ Up!

See Amy in the corner there? She won the Door Prize!! (I’m going to drop it off to you Amy, no worries!)

*Just please note the first two items aren’t available until 8.28 (Seasonal Snapshot).

Then, the next morning I took my niece to Karizma Hair Salon so she could get a cut and color before heading off to college next week, and I remembered that they had this little bistro table outside, so I sat and continued working on her album while she was inside. It was great “multi-tasking” if you ask me, I got all 126 photos from her graduation party all “corner rounded” and organized and matched with the cards people wrote on at her party. I just need to add a few more finishing touches, will be taking more photos when it is all done for sure.

notice my contraband?? sorry, I meant to “hide” that from the photo, but I forgot… so here it is, for all the world to see…

I just adore the tag line for Project Life: “cultivate a good life and record it”. Love Becky Higgins!

Delicious Dunkin coffee was a perfect beverage for this nice cool morning.

Because some of my friends and customers want to order the new Seasonal Snapshot Card Collection (adorable cards that kick off the fall/winter season and holidays) and it is not available until Thursday August 28th when the new Holiday Catalog Launches, I am keeping this order open until Thursday. Feel free to click any of the photos below and it will take you directly to my online store. Anyone who orders any of the Project Life collection will receive an exclusive invite to another Project Life Make-and-Take night that will be scheduled as my thank you! (Stay tuned!)

Remember to use the August Hostess Code if you do online shopping with me: YA7CNZND

Please let me know if you need any help getting started with YOUR new memory keeping, scrapbooking, Project Life!

Have a great day, thanks for stopping by to read the blog today. (Be sure to check back tomorrow to see what my friends will be making at my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack).
