Hi there Stamping Friends! I am so very sorry that I haven’t blogged before now! Wowza, has this been a whirlwind week! I’m writing to you from warm and sunny Utah! Salt Lake City to be exact. I am at my first convention with several thousand other demonstrators from all over the US and Canada. Two of my downline- Jamie and Amye- were able to join me on this awesome trip and we also have several other demonstrators from our area who went to convention as well. I feel so blessed to have friends and fellow demos Val and Barb here to give us tips and tricks to make our first convention so special. They also gifted us with the nicest little “Convention Survival Kits”. As I write this now (after many failed attempts from my phone, the hotel computer, and my ipad) I decided to get a quick blog out that actually has no photos yet! I promise I will post a week long series of blog posts with all my photos, new stamps, info about the Holiday Catalog, and more… starting tomorrow night!
Amye and I took a Master Class which featured a new Christmas card kit (which actually could be used for winter holidays and all occasions too). The technique featured for this 20 card kit was watercoloring, and there is a contest on Pinterest to see who’s card has the most likes and pins- I would love it if you would “vote” for my original card design- just go to http://www.pinterest.com/stampinup and be sure to select the Watercolor Winter Simply Sent Card Kit Board, scroll down to find my card (It is a whisper white card base with a smoky slate watercolored snowflake stencil in the middle and a red sled with a rope handle, and the bermuda bay sentiment “Season’s Greetings” is stamped in the upper right corner. It was loaded by Stampin’ Up! but has my normal watermark on it- so you can see my name in the photo. I’m going to try to link it here- but I’m not on my computer (I’m sitting in a hotel lobby and the wifi is very spotty);
Well, that’s all for today, thanks so much for stopping by to visit my blog and I sure hope lots of you signed up for our Stamp-a-Stack next week! Tomorrow at 6 pm is the registration deadline as I have A LOT of prep for this event and will be returning to work so I have a lot to juggle. Plus will be making the 4 cards with my downline at my house this Thursday night, so need to cut the right amount of paper. If you need to pay via credit card- please contact me.
Have a wonderful night!
Lynn
