Why try it??

  • Little time for crafting? Paper Pumpkin kits are all ready to go!  All pieces come ready to be assembled into 6-8 cards or other project that you are sure to complete before the next month’s package arrives.
  • Don’t have a lot of space? Paper Pumpkin contains only the amounts of materials to make its projects, plus a Stampin’ Ink Spot and clear mount stamp- you get a new color spot in each pack so you can collect your inks in small sizes!
  • On the go?  Paper Pumpkin comes in one box; throw in your scissors and adhesive and do your kits up anywhere…in the airport, at a hotel, on in a few captured moments at home.
  • At the cottage for the summer?Paper Pumpkin can be delivered anywhere you’re going to be- just change your address by the 10th of the month for that month’s delivery.
  • On  a budget? Paper Pumpkin is an all in one solution.  The pre-paid subscriptions can help you take advantage of savings ($1 off each month with a 6 month pre-paid subscription or $2 off per month with a 12 month prepaid subscription!
  • Don’t get out much? Paper Pumpkin comes right to your door.  Call a few friends in to assemble your kits together and call it a party!
  • Children a priority? Sit down for some family fun and make the kits up together. The paper pumpkin kits are a wonderful “Multi-Generational” activity- have the kids sit down and craft with Grandma or Grandpa.
  •  Need a gift idea?   Paper Pumpkin can be sent anywhere you wish… gift delivered and done!  Who in your circle would love a little crafting time?

Stampin’ Up! is excited to announce that one of our most exciting new products, Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers, will be available on July 1st! These exclusive alcohol-based marker sets, come in a 3-pack of light, medium and dark shades (of the same color ), and provide your projects a more saturated look with blended colors. We recommend using Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Cardstock with your Stampin’ Up! Blendabilities, but any one of our cardstocks would work just as well. And since traditional alcohol markers require a bit of training and aren’t as accessible, we’ve developed videos to ensure that Blendabilities are easy-to-use for everyone!

Be sure to check out the Stampin’ Up! You Tube Channel with lots of great videos, here is the one on Blendabilities:

What Sets Them Apart:

  • The Stampin’ Up! rectangular barrel keeps your markers from rolling away!
  • Flat storage helps to maintain the life of each marker.
  • Each marker comes with a tip on each end: brush and fine.
  • Marker tips are made of nylon, which is superior to polyester which can fray.
  • Color coded caps.
  • Stampin’ Up! markers coordinate wonderfully with our cardstock, and can be used with transparent sheets.
  • Use blendabilities to color our pearls, rhinestones, ribbon, and acetate sheets for even more options!!

Please note:  On August 1, 2014, the remaining six color assortments featured in the new catalog (Calypso Coral, Melon Mambo, Night of Navy, Wisteria Wonder, Smoky Slate and Crumb Cake) will be available to purchase (demonstrators can pre-order them on July 1st).

Patriotic Summer Banner Class

IMG_9346

Although I didn’t get this made before summer officially started, I did finish it on Sunday morning and boy, I am sure happy with how it came out. As soon as I saw that Stampin’ Up! came out with new stencils, I was so excited about the possibilities! I purchased both our new Hearts & Stars Decorative Masks and Dots & Stripes Decorative Masks. They are different size dots and stripes than the stencils in the Build a Banner kit, and I knew the stars and stripes would look amazing done in Real Red, Night of Navy and I threw in some Smoky Slate for the letters. Also to the rescue were the new Star Framelits and this month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit!!! How stinkin’ cute are the pinwheels??? I adore them and I think they are just the perfect touch on the “Summer” banner… what do you think? OH, also, I used the NEW glimmer paper and the cute little star punch from our new Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (I have been using those 3 new little punches on almost every project since they’ve arrived here).

Can’t wait for this class on Thursday! And for more patriotic themed projects! Stay tuned!

Thanks for stopping by my blog to visit, and I hope you have a nice day!

Baseball Birthday Card

ethanbday

Friday was my nephew Ethan’s 7th birthday, and he is a big baseball fan, so I thought this card would be super cute for him for his birthday card this year. It was super quick to make thanks to the Big Shot, the Circle Card Thinlit set (which included that cute mini chevron shape that worked perfect for the baseball), the 2 1/2″ circle punch, the new mini star punch from our new Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, the only tricky part was attempting to line up the edge of the piercing template to follow the curve of the ball (I just hand cut that curve from the punched circle).  Saw a card similar on Pinterest, what would I do without that website?

ethanbday2

Ethan really seemed to like his card, it was super quick to make.
