Spring Floral Wreath Class

Good morning Stamping Friends!

Hope you all had a nice weekend! Have you been watching any of the Olympics? I have to say I love to have it on while I’m up in my craft room prepping for all my classes and events. What’s your favorite Olympic sport? I have always been a big fan of the figure skating… it’s so elegant. The skiing and snowboarding events scare the pants off me, to be honest. I’m surprised more of the athletes aren’t injured. I’m loving the variety of commercials that show the athletes as children and as tributes to their parents, those really get to me.

Well I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for spring to arrive. I was talking to some of my fellow demonstrators recently and we realized that Stampin’ Up!’s kits in the new 2014 Occasions Catalog are really amazing. This wreath is really stunning, the picture doesn’t do it justice. I decided to offer a class and am taking registrations and RSVP’s now until February 22nd. I have planned this Spring Wreath class for Sunday March 9th from 1-3:30 pm. It is a $20 class fee payable in advance as I need to order all of these Burlap and Blossom kits. The class fee covers the cost of the wreath kit, shipping/handling and tax.

In addition to the wreath, you will also make a card with a burlap and floral mini wreath similar to this one made by my friend Marie (and fellow demo) *you can customize this card with a variety of greetings (I always let you pick what sentiment you need on your cards). I’ll have some snacks and beverages here. So what do you think? If Sunday afternoon is not good for you, but you want to make the wreath with my and some friends, we can set up another day/time. If I have a huge response to this date/time, I might look for another space. Right now I already have 4 signed up. Either comment here, call or email me to sign up for this class.

You will need to bring with you to this class a few things to make your life easier: scissors, bone folder, silicone mat, green glue, glue dots, sticky strip (or score tape), and a hot glue gun (if you have it).

Well happy Monday everyone, I hope you have a great day!
