St. Patrick’s Day Fun!

The concept artists at Stampin’ Up! are a talented bunch, wish I had thought of all these fun kids crafts!! Thought that you might enjoy seeing Cindy B.’s creations from our Stampin’ Up! blog… these crafts are so easy, if you have our heart punches and a few other supplies. Let me know if you need any of these items!

Make rainbows using the Big Shot and Circles Collection Framelits Dies. Create the pot using the Word Window and 3/4″ Circle Punches.

Don’t you love the new Banner Framelits Dies and the Mini Metallic Clothespins? The Happy St. Patrick’s Day sign was designed using MDS -my digital studio software, the download is called “Luck O’ the Irish”. It is then adhered to Champagne Glimmer Paper.

To make the leprechaun trap: adhere Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper (Gumball Green chevron) to an empty oatmeal box. Cut a border using the Big Shot, Large Scallop Edgelits Dies, and Gold Foil Paper. Cut the top using the Big Shot, Circle Collection Framelits Dies, and Gold Foil Paper. Use Gold Foil Paper, Fancy Foil Designer Vellum, Gold Baker’s Twine, the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, and MDS to make the sign. (Use a hot glue and straws to assemble the “wee” ladder.) And if you love those pom-poms—get them for free with the Heartfelt Banner Kit when you spend $50.00 through March 31. (because it’s Sale-A-Bration time!)

Make “leprechaun footprints” using Gumball Green ink and the Baby Prints Stamp Set.

Basic Rhinestone Jewels add a bit of bling to our four-leaf clovers. For even more sparkle and shine, we tied the package with Gold Sequin Trim

I think these crafts would be perfect for the classroom, the office, or your own home St. Patrick’s Day display. I am going to try to whip some of these up for my hutch. Will post pictures when I make them.

Thanks for stopping by my blog- hope you enjoyed this share today.

WordPress Blogging Camp

Yesterday I had the pleasure of getting together with some fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators to work on their brand new blogs.

Many thanks to Karyn, Jan, Pam and Jamie for yummy food, good laughs and a very productive day!

We talked about widgets, social media, blogging, and of course crafting.

I thank all of YOU for visiting my blog and want to ask you- what would you like to see more of here on MY blog?? Leave a comment if you have any suggestions, or if there is something you’d like to see me offer.

3-D Projects For My Team

Once a month I invite my active downline to my home for some dinner and night of stamping (well, we’ve evolved to having dinner because its just so much fun!) Jamie, Wendy, Tina, and Amye all brought some yummy food- chili, cornbread, fruit/veggies, chips and delicious bundt cake! (Wish I took a picture!)

Last night we did NOT stamp but instead played with products from the new Occasions Catalog to make some fun 3-D projects.

Here are the girls hard at work twirling their card stock to make little roses and a small nose gay for their little vase (really a grated cheese shaker from The Dollar Tree). I have to admit that I love making these little flowers. I watched You Tube videos by both Janet Wakeland and Patty Bennett for some tips and tricks. I used the coordination card stock that came in my big grab bag box back in November after Book-a-thon. The floral wire was also from the Dollar Tree Store.

Here is my little flower bouquet… I will be adding to it, because one of my team had an excellent idea- to add little stems (I quickly whipped off some gumball green stems on the big shot… But I didn’t take any photos of them completed, darn. I will post after I spruce mine up.

Another case from Janet was this little salt shaker as a mini vase… I used the Retro Fresh DSP here. Hard to believe the Spiral Flower die is only $17.95 it is a real bargain. A hot glue gun is a must for assembling these little beauties.

Amye had brainstormed an idea to use the mini coffee cups as egg holders for Easter. I found the cute punch art bunny on an old blog post by Mary Fish. Of course the new fringe scissors are the real star here, but sadly they are on back order right now, drats.

Here’s a side view:

Finally I gave the girls the MDS print out “Happy St Patrick’s Day” to put in their 8×10 frames. This is a new digital download for MDS called Luck O’ the Irish. This download is chuck full of great pieces for any St Patricks celebration!

Would you like to have fun with us next month? Just ask me how you can sign up, it’s easy (10 minutes), and we have a real special on our starter kit right now only $99 for over $150 in new products plus a case of catalogs and business supplies. It’s a great time to join! We would love to welcome you to the Lynnzcrafters group!

thanks for stopping by to read my blog, I hope you have a great day!

Stampin’ Up decided to extend the free marker give away until the end of Sale-a-bration (March 31st) since this promotion is going so well. If you sign up today, then you’ll be eligible to get these refills and past kits that are being offered while supplies last.

It’s so easy to sign up:

Go to and click one of these three links:
. “Join Here” (middle of the page) . “Join” (top right of the screen) . “Subscribe” (top middle of the screen)

  • In the “Quantity” field, enter 1 (or more) and click “Continue.”
  • Enter your general information and click “Continue.”

That’s it! You are official. You will receive an e-mail that invites you to come back to the site to create a password. You will need that if you ever want to change your information, skip a month, or cancel Paper Pumpkin kits.

This is a secure website, and you will need a credit card to sign up for Paper Pumpkin.

And here are some questions/answers that might help you understand:

Q: Why are you selling past Paper Pumpkin Kits and refill kits now?
A: We have received multiple requests throughout the past year to offer past kits and refills for a variety of reasons; happily, we’re finally at a point where we can make it happen!

Q: Why have you limited this offer to only active subscribers?
A: We listened to our current Paper Pumpkin subscribers who have requested time and time again the option of purchasing past kits and refill kits-this is a special perk just for Paper Pumpkin subscribers!

Q: How did you select which past kits and refill kits to sell?
A: There were a few things taken into consideration when determining which kits and refill kits would be offered, including inventory availability and variety.

Q: Why do subscribers have to contact Demonstrator Support to order past kits and refill kits?
A: Since this offering is only available to Paper Pumpkin subscribers and we do not currently link our Paper Pumpkin ordering to OEX or Online Ordering, Demonstrator Support has to help facilitate this process.

Q: Will demonstrators still receive their 20 percent discount?
A: Yes. Sales for these items will be treated like any other product we sell.

Q: How will we know when a specific kit has sold out?
A: If a kit or refill kit sells out, we will update this web page to reflect that.

Are there any refills or past kits YOU want to get? If you’re a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber, then just call SU and order yours today.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a wonderful day.
