I had the pleasure of doing a little girl’s birthday party… she wanted to have some friends over to make cards and when I was talking with her mother about a stamp set, I had just been wowed by some games that another talented demonstrator, the infamous Jenna Bohanon from Las Vegas, shared on her blog (and she is an Artisan Award winner two years running with Stampin’ Up!).
Well, I emailed Jenna to get some tips and techniques on how she created her games and goodies. She replied and I was able to create this set of games for Minna.
It is from the Storybook Friends stamp set, from our big 2013-14 Catalog. Each girl made mini cards (3×3″) and bookmarks as well as played the Tic-Tac-Toe and Memory Game.

They all did such a nice job, it was such a pleasure to put this together for Minna and her friends.
My laminator is a simple little tabletop set up from Target, it’s made by Scotch and the pouches are reasonable, I have used it for a couple years now and still on my original packet of pouches.
If you have a birthday party you need to plan, and don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on going to some “place”- why not consider having me come do some arts-and-crafts with the children?
I will work within your budget and theme!
Also, if you have a baby or bridal shower, wedding or special event, and you need some party favors or invitations- don’t hesitate to contact me!

Hi Jamie- I ended up purchasing the Storybook Friends MDS download, as I wanted to be able to make lots of game pieces quickly and have them the same size. Sorry, I should have said that in my blog post. I also gave the stamp set to the birthday girl, so she could keep making more. But now I want to order it for myself, it’s a great set for preschoolers through elementary school, very versatile.
