Stampin’ Up! New Catalog Launch

Hellllloooooo Stampers! I’m sorry I’ve been away from you so long! It has been quite a week! The scariest of all nights was Wednesday when my area had tornado alerts, warnings and confirmed touch downs in two locations not far from me. My cell phone, camping lantern, water bottle and a few other things joined me in my hour long sojourn to the basement. Sojourn makes it sound too pleasant… I was beyond scared, I don’t think I’ve ever prayed as hard and loud. Thank goodness none of my trees came down in this storm.

ANYWAY… suffice to say having no power was a set back and I had a lot to do to finish getting ready for Stamp-a-Palooza today! We had a ball! It was our best stamp camp ever! We had 44 stampers, 8 Demonstrator/Helpers. Everyone made 4 cards featuring all new products, In Colors, punches, embossing folders, inks, and of course stamps! There were 40 door prizes given away all morning long- almost everyone went home with something!

There was one grand prize winner- Karen Hoffman- who gets the Raffle Basket with $120 of ALL brand NEW stamps, inks, IN Colors, ribbon, and designer 12×12 papers. Everyone wanted that basket! Whew, I am a little wiped out from all the prep, set up, running around, helping, cleaning up, unpacking… I know it was all worth it!

I am going to try to figure out how to switch over my blog widgets on the sidebar here- I need to do something with “code”… I might have to get some help with it, as I’ve been trying and can’t seem to locate the right code.

CLUBS are starting up!! I have planned my next 1/2 year of clubs. New clubs are forming and begin in July and run through December. Existing club members who rejoin by midnight tonight (6/1) will get a new stamp pad as my thank you! New stampers who would like to join one of my clubs, email me by June 9th with the club you are interested in either Saturday morning or Monday night. I am considering a Friday night club, but would need at least 6 people to sign up to make it viable and have enough customers in proportion to hostesses. This is how it works: 6 people sign up for club and each person has one turn to be the hostess for one month, earning the $25 in rewards. All clubs are at my house in Glenville. Each person commits to ordering at least $25 in product from me, if for some reason you can’t attend a club, orders are still due at the day/time of your club so the hostess will earn her free product. You would bring a simple snack on your day as hostess and I provide coffee, tea, water, soda, and paper products. Club is usually only 2 hours. You bring your “stamping kit” (bone folder, gum eraser, scissors, all adhesives). There are no fees, and we make 3-4 projects each month. I try to start within 15 minutes of start time so everyone has time to finish their projects.

Here are the dates I have selected for clubs:

Saturday morning clubs are 9-11 am: July 13, August 10, September 14, October 5, November 2, December 7

Monday night clubs are 6:30-8:30 pm: July 15, August 12, September 16, October 7, November 4, December 9

*If you would like to help me kick off a Friday night club, I am flexible- could start it either 6:30 or 7 pm. The Friday nights I have available are: July 12, August 9, September 13, October 4, November 1, December 6 ** But I need 6 stampers to make this work!
