Greeting Card Kids

Retirement List Favorites…. Greeting Card Kids

Well today was just a heavenly day, wasn’t it?? I helped my sister with her garage sale, spent the afternoon with my nephews at a BMX race, went to my favorite shop for a quick visit (Bliss Gifts and Home Decor, on Jay Street in Schenectady), and did some stamping. I’m also planning my May events and making lists and checking them twice. It felt good to be outdoors most of the day, although I have a touch of sunburn… I remembered to put sunscreen on Ethan, but didn’t think about putting any on myself.

I also went through my archives, I haven’t taken pictures of every card I’ve made, and have sent out hundreds of cards through the years. Luckily I have photos to show you another one of my all time favorite sets that is retiring, called “Greeting Card Kids”.

This card was one of the first Christmas cards I made with this set- what do you think of the non-traditional colors? I made this as a mock up to see if I was going to do a class with it, I didn’t end up using this one… but I did use this one:

Hard to believe I have been blogging for almost 2 months. I thought a daily blog would be a “piece of cake”, but there is much more involved than I thought. I need to brush up and learn more blogging lingo, and learn how to add specials and blinkies and links on my sidebar. I want to know how often you would like to see me post here? I’m trying to balance it all, you know?

are there any retired stamp sets you want to see me feature here as we take a last look at them before they’re gone for ever?

Happy stamping everyone! thank you for taking the time out of your busy weekend to read my blog! I appreciate it!
