Stampin’ Up!’s Fabric…. Covered notebooks

image

Hi there stamping friends,
I wanted to show you some quick gift ideas with our wonderful Stampin’ Up! Fabric. Remember when we had the fabric frenzy sale at the end of March? Well, I added to my collection, and here are a few covered notebooks I wanted to share with you…..

Basically, you cover the notebooks with the fabric the same way you used to cover your textbooks in high school…do they still do that anymore? Anyway, I used our super sticky awesome adhesive roll of double sided sticky strip. This stuff is the best! I covered the inside flaps with some coordinating designer series paper to cover my seams. I picket some trinkets (clocks are from the current tea time trinkets, all others are retired), I made some bookmarks by sewing a jump ring into the ribbon loop, strung some beads on a head pin from my jewelry making supplies, adhered the trinket and the jewels to the ring, then I sewed the bookmark to the inside of the back cover of the notebook.
I’m pretty happy with how they came out.
What one is your favorite? What would you add to the covers? Do you think it needs something else?
Thanks for reading my blog!
Until tomorrow, happy crafting!
