Serene Silhouettes

friend card

Hi there Stampers!
I hope you had a wonderful Friday, in fact a blessed Good Friday! I know I did!
I wanted to share with you a card I made a few weeks ago, I was contemplating using Serene Silhouettes stamp set for our Spring Fling Event that we had last week. One of the tricky aspects of planning an event not in my home, is making sure there aren’t too many steps involved with one card. As much as I love this card, I didn’t think it would work at the firehouse event as this card requires two big shot steps done separately. It would make a great workshop card- I’ll have to see if any of my new hostesses want to make this at their home card party. But for now, I get to share it with you. What do you think?
The textured elements are lightly sponged with three different ink colors (gumball green, Primrose Petals, and Raspberry Ripple) which are also the colors used in the card stock and ribbon layers.

Don’t you love how the framelit fits perfectly around the stamped image? I love that the apothecary accents framelits cuts this sentiment from World Treasures stamp set and that it coordinates so well with this card layout.

Here are the details on this stamp set: Serene Silhouettes in Clear Mount is item #127324 is $17.95 this four piece stamp set gives you dozens of stamping options for all four seasons and coordinates with our 1- 3/4″ circle punch too. The wood mount set is item #127322 for $24.95.

I’m not quite sure why, but I gravitate to this card for my sympathy cards…. here are a few additional cards I’ve made with the Serene Silhouettes stamp set:

Well, that’s all for tonight.

Until tomorrow, happy stamping!
