Hello there friends! My name is Lynn Streifert and I am an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and I live in Glenville, NY. I hope to learn the ropes in this blogging world, and hope to bring you inspiring cards, 3D projects, scrapbooking tips, and ideas. Leave me a comment and my goal is to reply as soon as possible.

I’ve been a demonstrator since September 2009, but I was introduced to Stampin Up at a home party back in 2005. I fell in love with the Idea Book and Catalog, and then a Spring Occasions Mini Catalog and thought “I want it all”, despite wanting all the tools, stamps, paper, inks, ribbons, buttons, brads and embellishments… I stamped regularly for over 4 years before I signed up to be a demonstrator. I thought I wouldn’t be good at the “Sales” part of it, and when 2 close friends said “we’ll help you with your quarterly minimums”, I breathed a sign of relief and thought “ok, now is the right time to take the plunge”. Well, I’ve never regretted it for one moment, and only wish I had signed up sooner! By signing up to be demonstrator, I joined a circle of friends I didn’t even realize I needed- Crafters!! It soothes my soul in a way that nothing else ever has, and is my daily therapy. You see, I have a rather stressful full time job, I won’t really talk about that here, but wanted you to know what is on my plate. On top of my full-time job, I also am an adjunct professor at a local community college and also an independent marketing consultant with Ambit, an energy supply company. So, with my busy schedule, it can be challenging to find time to book home parties, workshops, clubs and team meetings. But I love it so much, I feel like I’m going through withdrawals if I’m not making something in my craft room on a regular basis.

This is a wonderful time of year to think about joining Stampin’ Up! You see it is Sale-a-Bration… that is our Annual event for customers, new recruits and hostesses where the rewards are greater than any other time of the year! If you sign up before March 22, 2013, you can join for only $99 but you actually are selecting over $156 in brand new products! And that is not all, you would be a member of my Lynnzcrafters Team, you would be invited to my monthly team meeting (I spoil you and we make at least 3 new cards/projects each month!) AND you are also invited to attend my wonderful upline Dania Welch’s monthly team meetings where we also learn new techniques and use all the newest products. Lastly, for $5 per month, you can also attend another of my upline’s monthly events, Deb Valder’s group is called the NY Inketts and we get together usually the 3rd Sunday afternoon of each month and spend about 4-5 hours with a business meeting, stamping, swapping, eating, and chatting with our stamping brothers and sisters (yes- we have demonstrators who are guys!).

I will be trying to make this blog attractive, functional, and user-friendly, so let me know if you have any special requests (or tips for me!) I am learning!!
